I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University, College Station, USA, where I work as a Graduate Research Assistant in the INVENT Lab under the supervision of Dr. Cynthia Hipwell. My research focuses on technology-enabled remote soft-tissue diagnostics, exploring how clinical examinations can be mediated between a proximal nurse and a distal physician to transform traditional workflows.
I am also an Assistant Professor (on study leave) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Bangladesh. I hold an M.Sc. (CGPA 4.00/4.00) and a B.Sc. (CGPA 3.89/4.00) in Mechanical Engineering. My B.Sc. thesis focused on designing and building a sensor-based assistive walking stick for visually impaired users, while my M.Sc. research involved developing an interactive, anthropomorphic transradial prosthetic arm with real-time force feedback.
My work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences. Beyond academia, I have won five international competitions (UK, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam) and over 20 national contests in engineering design, simulation, project showcasing, case-solving, startup pitching, and poster presentation.
