Hi, I'm Facundo! I'm an English to Spanish game localizer and LQA specialist from Argentina. I work with LATAM Spanish, neutral/international Spanish and European Spanish.
I've been localizing games for 5 years, working on visual novels, RPGs, horror games, mobile titles and larger commercial releases. I've worked with games such as Ys X: Proud Nordics, MiSide and No Humanity.
Bad localization can make a game feel confusing, awkward or less polished than it really is. My goal is to help your players feel the way you want them to feel and experience the game as intended, with clear, natural text that respects the original style without sounding translated or too literal.
I work best with games that rely heavily on dialogue, cultural references or a unique aesthetic.
I'm especially drawn to horror, puzzle-driven games, RPGs and visual novels where small wording choices matter.
I'm also particularly passionate about UX, UI and LQA. I enjoy the part where localization stops being just text and starts improving the actual player experience.

I have 5 years of experience in game localization, supported by over 9 years of professional English teaching and language work. For most projects below, I handled the full Spanish localization workflow: translation, editing, proofreading, query handling, consistency checks, LQA and final delivery.
Each project had its own challenge and here's how that looked:
A large-scale JRPG localization project where consistency mattered as much as style. I worked as part of a 7-linguist Spanish team, localizing ~90,000 words of NPC text in memoQ while following glossary, termbase and style guide requirements.
Biggest challenge: keeping character tone and dialogue clarity across a massive script with very limited context, while staying aligned with a shared glossary, termbase and style guide across a 7-linguist team.
A large mobile gacha RPG with frequent updates, event content and dialogue. I handled ~170,000 words of English > Neutral Spanish localization and in game LQA, including termbase creation, terminology consistency and structured quality evaluation.
Biggest challenge: managing truncation and Spanish text expansion in a mobile UI originally built around much shorter Chinese strings.
A psychological horror / narrative adventure where tone, timing and character voice do a lot of the work. I handled the full English > LATAM Spanish localization workflow for ~20,000 words, including dialogue, UI, narrative text, editing, proofreading, in game LQA and final delivery.
Biggest challenge: making each Mita sound distinct and natural in Spanish while keeping the same intimate feeling in the dialogue.
A short narrative-driven experience about starting over, regret, and the things you cannot fully leave behind. I handled full-cycle English > LATAM & es-ES localization for dialogue and UI, including tone adaptation, proofreading, LQA, consistency checks and final delivery.
Biggest challenge: making Circe’s short character development feel natural in Spanish without over-explaining the mystery.
A ~22,000-word visual novel built around friendship, mystery and emotionally loaded choices. I handled the full English > Neutral Spanish localization workflow, including dialogue, UI, proofreading, terminology consistency, in game LQA and final delivery.
Biggest challenge: rebuilding a plot-critical poem from scratch in Spanish so the hidden message still worked without making the text feel forced.
A chaotic mobile bullet hell / dodge game with over 10 million downloads, built around unfair, unpredictable, space-themed mayhem. I localized ~2,000 words of descriptions, UI, special events, menus and prompts into neutral Spanish.
Biggest challenge: keeping the UI short so that it would not slow down fast gameplay while preserving the game's “unfair but funny” personality.
A micro visual novel about a paranormal investigator, an abandoned hospital, and one very chatty spirit. I handled full-cycle English > Neutral & es-ES localization for narrative dialogue, UI, wordplay and jokes, including proofreading, consistency checks, LQA and final delivery.
Biggest challenge: balancing the playful ghost banter and transcreating wordplay jokes within a very short VN format.
A short RPG horror dating game built around an uncomfortable conversation with a father about his daughter. I handled the full English to Spanish localization and proofreading with a special focus on in game LQA.
Biggest challenge: preserving all the Japanese cultural references and awkward social tension while making the Spanish dialogue sound natural.

A Danganronpa inspired mystery visual novel where, as a gothic detective, you solve mysteries with your colorful sidekick. What awaits for you at the Crimson Haven? Set to release in 2027.
