Project Overview
In the span of 1 week, we used AI solutions to reconstruct facial recognition technology which is a type of computer vision. Computer vision is a field of study that seeks to develop techniques to help computers “see” and understand the content of digital images such as photographs and videos. We reviewed the results and discussed ways to improve future projects.
Our Problem Statement
Facial Emotion Recognition
In the status quo, self-driving cars do not recognize the emotional state of the humans in or around the autonomous car yet, which could be a safety concern for those on the road.
To increase the general safety of drivers and pedestrians by:
Making sure the driver keeps an eye on the road when it senses a distracted driver
Slowing down the car if the person in or the people around the car look scared
