This privacy policy applies to the Face Shape Analyzer : Facet app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by BETUL CAN (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as
Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages
The time spent on the Application
The operating system you use on your mobile device
The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.
The Service Provider may use the information you provided to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.
For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that the Service Provider request will be retained by them and used as described in this privacy policy.
Facial Data Collection and Usage
What we collect
We collect photographs that you explicitly choose yourself from your photo library. These photographs contain your face. The Application does not scan, capture, or access your photo library in the background, and it does not use the camera without your action.
We do not create, derive, or store biometric templates, face prints, face geometry maps, or any other mathematical representation of your face. The Application does not perform face recognition or identity verification, and it cannot be used to identify you.
The Application does not use ARKit, TrueDepth, or any Apple face-tracking API.
Your consent is required first
Before any photograph leaves your device, the Application shows an in-app consent screen that states exactly what is sent, who receives it, why, and how long it is kept. No image is transmitted unless you tap "I agree" on that screen. If you decline, the feature simply does not run.
You can withdraw your consent at any time in the app, under Archive → AI data sharing → Withdraw consent. After withdrawal, the consent screen appears again the next time you start an analysis, and no image is sent until you consent again.
How the photograph is used
Your photograph is used solely to provide the feature you requested:
• Face shape detection and analysis
• Personalized hairstyle recommendations based on your face shape
• Virtual hairstyle try-on
• Hair color change simulation
Your photograph is never used for advertising, never sold, never used to build user profiles, and never used to train AI models.
Sharing With Third-Party AI Services
To generate your result, the photograph is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to the following processors, and only to them:
1. Face shape analysis — our server, then Google Gemini
The photograph is sent to the Service Provider's backend server, which forwards it to the Google Gemini API for analysis. The server is a relay: it does not write the photograph to disk and does not keep it after the request is completed.
According to Google's API data policy:
• Storage: Google may temporarily store the data to perform the requested service and for abuse monitoring.
• Training: Google does not use content submitted through the paid API to train its models. We have not opted in to any training use.
• Retention: Data is retained only for the limited period necessary to provide the service and is then deleted.

2. Hairstyle try-on and hair color — fal.ai
For hairstyle and hair color features, the photograph is sent to the fal.ai image processing service, which returns the transformed image.
• Storage: fal.ai processes images temporarily to generate the requested transformation.
• Training: fal.ai processes images only for the requested service and does not use them for training without explicit consent.
• Retention: Processed images are retained only as long as necessary to deliver the result.

Both providers act as data processors on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect the data to a standard equal to that described in this policy. We do not share your facial data with any other third party for any purpose.
Our Retention and Deletion
• On our servers: none. The Service Provider does not store your photographs or analysis results on its servers or databases. The backend relays the request and retains nothing after it completes.
• On your device: your photographs and results are saved locally in the Application's Archive so you can view them again. They never leave your device except as described above.
• Deletion: you can delete any item at any time from the Archive screen. Deleting the Application removes all locally stored images and results.
Other Information the Application Collects
The Application may collect non-facial, technical information such as your device's IP address, the screens you visit, time and date of use, time spent in the Application, and your mobile operating system. This information is used for diagnostics and service improvement. The Application does not gather precise location data.
Third-party services
The Application uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

• RevenueCat — subscription management — https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

• fal.ai — hairstyle and hair color generation (see above) — https://fal.ai/legal/privacy
Advertising providers do not receive your photographs or any facial data. Advertising in the Application is requested as non-personalized.
Disclosure Required by Law
The Service Provider may disclose information:
• as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
• when disclosure is necessary in good faith to protect rights, user safety, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
• to trusted service providers who work on the Service Provider's behalf, have no independent use of the information, and have agreed to these terms.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
• Access the data stored in the Application's Archive
• Delete that data at any time from within the Application
• Withdraw your consent to AI processing at any time (Archive → AI data sharing)
• Stop all collection by uninstalling the Application
• Request information about how your data is processed, using the contact address below
Children
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, it is deleted immediately. If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
Security
The Service Provider safeguards the confidentiality of your information. All transmission of photographs to processing services uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Photographs are not stored on the Service Provider's servers.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page. Continued use of the Application is deemed approval of all changes.
Your Consent
By using the Application, and by granting the in-app consent described above, you consent to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.
