This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how face data and other personal data are collected, used, disclosed, stored, and protected by Berik Jantikov (hereinafter “we”, “us”, or “our”) in the AI Face SwapLab mobile application (the “App”).
1. Consent
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you consent to the collection, use, disclosure, and retention of your personal data, including face data, as described in this Policy.
2. Personal Data We Collect
Face Data: Facial landmarks and embedding vectors derived from user-uploaded photos, used temporarily to render face-swap images.
Uploaded photos: Images users voluntarily upload to the App.
Basic personal data: Email or Instagram username if provided during surveys.
Technical and usage data: Device identifiers, analytics data, crash reports via third-party SDKs (e.g., Amplitude, Firebase).
3. Use of Face Data
Face data is used solely for rendering face-swap images as requested by the user within the App.
No face data is used for identification, authentication, surveillance, advertising, or profiling.
All face-processing is done in-memory and is deleted immediately after the swap is generated.
4. Disclosure of Face Data
We do not share face data or uploaded photos with any third party.
Temporary processing may occur on our secure servers, and all face data is deleted upon completion of each swap.
5. Data Storage and Retention.
Face Data Collection and Usage
The app may process face-related data contained in user-provided images solely to provide face editing and image processing features and to improve app functionality and performance.
The app does not use face data for identification, authentication, advertising, or tracking purposes. Face data is not shared, sold, or disclosed to any third parties.
Face data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill its intended purpose and is permanently deleted thereafter.
6. Third-party Services
We may use analytics or SDKs (e.g., Appsflyer, Facebook SDK). These services only receive depersonalized analytics—no face data or personal photos are shared.
7. Users’ Rights
You have the right to:
Request access to your personal data;
Correct or update it;
Withdraw consent;
Delete your data;
Request processing restrictions;
Obtain portability in standard format.

8. Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. Any data inadvertently collected will promptly be deleted.
