THE SHORT VERSION
- This app does not upload, transmit or store your photos on any server.
- This app does not send your photos or match results to any artificial-intelligence service or any external processor.
- Everything you do inside This app (the photo you pick, the matches you see, your search history) stays on your device, in storage controlled by the operating system.
- The matches displayed to you are estimates drawn from This app's own offline, pre-built catalogue.
- Country labels shown next to a match are purely estimated for entertainment and do not represent the real location of any individual.
PHOTOS AND MATCH CONTENT
When you pick or take a photo inside This app:
- The photo is read locally on your device so This app can show you estimated look-alike suggestions.
- The photo is NOT uploaded to any server we operate.
- The photo is NOT sent to any AI service, face-recognition provider or external processor.
- The suggested matches come from a fixed sample catalogue that is bundled with This app. No real person is being identified.
- Your search history, if kept, is stored locally on your device only. You can clear it at any time from the app settings.
WHAT THIS APP DOES NOT DO
- This app does not perform real-world face recognition.
- This app does not run biometric identification against any online database.
- This app does not look you up, track you across the internet, or follow you across other apps and websites.
- This app does not know or verify the real identity, address or whereabouts of anyone shown as a match.
- This app does not sell your personal data. There is no personal data to sell.
COUNTRY LABELS
Country labels that appear next to a match are purely estimated and are shown for entertainment value only. They are not based on location tracking, IP lookup, GPS, or any real geographic signal. They must not be treated as factual information about any real person.
SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PURCHASES
If you choose to buy a subscription or an in-app product, the purchase itself is processed by your platform store (for example the Apple App Store). That transaction is governed by the store's own privacy practices. This app receives only the receipt information the store provides so it can unlock the feature you paid for, and it does not receive your payment-card details.
APP STABILITY AND BASIC USAGE SIGNALS
To keep This app stable and fix crashes quickly, This app may collect a small amount of technical information when problems occur, such as anonymous crash reports, the app version, the operating-system version and the device model. These signals are used to diagnose bugs and improve reliability. They do not include your photos, your matches, your search history or any content that could be used to identify you personally.
CHILDREN
This app is not intended for children under the minimum age required by your local law to consent to the processing of personal data (for example 13 in the US, 16 in parts of the EU). If you believe a child has used This app, please get in touch and we will delete any relevant data we may have received.
YOUR CHOICES
You are in control of the data on your device:
- You can clear the search history from within This app's settings.
- You can remove This app at any time from your device; removing the app also removes its local storage.
- You can revoke or change access permissions (photo library, camera) from your device's system settings.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted in This app or in the release notes where appropriate.
