Simple Facebook Group Auto Poster helps users prepare and publish posts and media to Facebook groups from open Facebook tabs or selected bookmarks. The extension also provides licensing, free-trial activation, subscription management, scheduling, templates, and related settings.
We collect and process the following categories of information:
A. Information you provide directly
Email address
when you start a free trial
when you subscribe
when you receive a license key
License key
when you activate a paid license
Post content and media
such as post text, optional title/header, and selected images/videos you choose to use with the extension
User-configured settings
such as schedules, recurring schedules, templates, delay settings, posting preferences, bookmark folder selection, and theme preferences
B. Information collected automatically
Device ID
a locally generated identifier used to associate a device with a license
Extension ID
used to verify that requests originate from the authorized extension
Browser/device fingerprint hash
a derived identifier generated from browser and device characteristics such as user agent, language, hardware concurrency, screen information, and time zone
used only for fraud prevention and free-trial abuse prevention
IP address / network metadata
processed by our backend for security and rate limiting
Subscription metadata
such as Stripe customer ID, Stripe subscription ID, subscription status, and trial end date
Verification data
such as one-time passcode (OTP) hash and expiration status used for email verification
C. Information processed locally in your browser
The extension may locally access or store:
Facebook tab URLs or bookmark URLs that you choose to use for posting
current posting status and progress
post templates
scheduling and recurring-post settings
selected media files
post counters and usage-related settings
This local information is used to operate the extension and is generally stored in Chrome extension storage on your device.
We use information for the following purposes:
to provide the extension’s core functionality
to let you create and publish Facebook group posts at your direction
to save your settings, templates, schedules, and selected media locally
to activate, verify, and deactivate licenses
to provide free trials
to send trial verification codes and paid license emails
to manage subscriptions and billing
to prevent fraud, abuse, repeated free-trial claims, brute-force attempts, and unauthorized access
to maintain security and service integrity
to respond to customer support requests
Information may be stored in the following places:
A. On your device / in Chrome storage
The extension stores some data locally or in Chrome sync storage, including:
post text and optional titles/headers
selected media files
templates
schedules and recurring schedules
posting preferences and settings
generated device ID
license status, token, trial end, and related license information
B. On our backend infrastructure
We store certain licensing, security, and subscription records in our backend services, including:
email address
license key records
license status
activated device IDs
browser/device fingerprint hash
Stripe customer and subscription IDs
OTP verification records
short-lived security/rate-limiting records
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information with service providers only as necessary to operate the product, including:
Supabase — backend database and serverless functions for licensing, trial verification, and subscription state
Stripe — payment processing and billing portal services
Resend (or equivalent transactional email provider) — sending free-trial verification codes and license emails
Facebook — when you use the extension to publish content, your selected post content/media is submitted to Facebook at your direction
GitHub Raw Content — used to fetch a disposable-email-domain blocklist for trial abuse prevention
We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, security, and integrity of our service, users, or others.
We do not use your data for unrelated advertising purposes.
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not collect or transmit your Facebook post text, media, bookmarks, or schedules to our own backend except as needed for features you explicitly use locally within the extension.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
In general:
local extension data remains until you delete it, clear browser/extension storage, or uninstall the extension
license and subscription records may be retained while your account/license remains active and for a reasonable period afterward
OTP verification records expire quickly for verification purposes, though related records may remain temporarily for security and auditing
rate-limiting/security records may be retained for short periods as needed to prevent abuse
You may:
stop using the extension at any time
deactivate the license on a device from within the extension
remove locally stored extension data by clearing the extension’s storage or uninstalling the extension
contact us to request assistance regarding your account or personal information
If you want us to delete backend records associated with your email address, contact us at [your support email].
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information used by the extension, including access controls, signed license tokens, rate limiting, and restricted backend access.
However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
This product is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Our service providers and infrastructure may process information in countries other than your own. By using the extension, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in other jurisdictions where our providers operate.
