About me

I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Economics, University of Bern (Switzerland), currently visiting at the Toulouse School of Economics (TSE). Besides, I am a teaching assistant at the University of Bern, a teaching assistant at the Study Center Gerzensee, and a lecturer at the Wirtschafts- und Kaderschule KV Bern. Also, I work as a freelancer (journalist) at swissinfo.ch.

[23.10.2019] Newspaper article published: Zukunftsmusik für die Nationalbank. The article explains our research paper Shocking Interest Rate Floors (joint with Prof. Daniel Kaufmann).

[19.10.2019] A new version of our paper Shocking Interest Rate Floors is online. This is joint work with Prof. Daniel Kaufmann from the University of Neuchâtel.

[18.09.2019] Newspaper article published: Leitzins-Limbo: Die Nationalbank kann noch viel tiefer. The article argues that the tiered remuneration system of the Swiss National Bank (SNB) allows for much lower interest rates than commonly believed.

[26.06.2019] An excerpt of the Monetary Policy In a New Era course description is online. The project aims at fostering the understanding of unconventional monetary policy measures, monetary policy normalization ("exit strategies"), and alternative monetary policy frameworks.
