My name is Fábio Bif Goularte, and I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at INESC-ID, Lisbon, Portugal, on the DARGMINTS project. I was an Adjunct Professor at the Federal Catarinense Institute (IFC), Camboriú, Brazil (2019-2021). I received my M.Sc. (2015) and Ph.D. (2020) in Computer Science from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Florianopolis/Brazil. During the Ph.D. Program I was a visiting student for doctorate-sandwich activities at the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), Barcelona, Spain, with the team members of the research group Tractament Automàtic del Llenguatge Natural (TALN).

I am interested in the field of Natural Language Processing. My current research focuses on understanding Semantics, Machine Learning, Text Mining, Linguistic pattern mining, Word Sense Induction/Disambiguation, Discourse Analysis.
