I am a PhD Candidate and Teaching Assistant at Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon.

I am an applied theoretical economist. My research addresses questions related to monetary policy and financial stability motivated by policy issues. I am particularly interested in how they shape macroeconomic outcomes.

As teaching assistant, I teach courses in macroeconomics and finance at the BSc and MSc levels.

I hold a Master's Degree from Trinity College Dublin and a Bachelor's from Goethe University Frankfurt. Before starting the PhD, I interned at the Directorate General Financial Stability of Deutsche Bundesbank.
