LD refutation

Refutation is a very important part to proving your side of the resolution.

Standard 4 point refutation:

Identify -- What are you responding to?

Claim -- What is your response?

Warrant -- How can you prove your response?

Impact -- Why does it matter to the round and to the judge?

4 different responses to arguments:

• Agree and Outweigh -- Sure, but is it worth it?
• Mitigate -- It doesn't really even matter
• Deny -- Its not true
• Turn -- It actually supports my side
