ABOUT THE ARTIST | BEHIND THE GLASS
Zaira Campos is an Orlando-raised photographer, storyteller, speaker, and the founder of Liberated Media Hub, a company that houses all of her media endeavors. Her journey into photography began in 2017 with a desire to authentically represent Black people in images. Frustrated with the lack of care in professional photos of herself, Zaira set out to change the narrative through her lens. She specializes in portrait, wedding, and event photography, capturing unfiltered, joyful moments that reflect each subject's fullest potential. Zaira is also the creator and host of Adoptees Crossing Lines, a podcast exploring the stories of those adopted or in foster care, and a contributing writer for Watermark, where she uplifts the local queer community through storytelling. As a speaker, she shares her experiences on identity, storytelling, and representation, offering valuable insights into the power of media in shaping narratives.
