Hello! I'm a lifelong educator with a passion to share knowledge with others. Over the last 20 years, I have led all manner of education programs. From recreation programs in New York state to residential outdoor education in California, and from informal museum education for the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County to operating telescopes for visitors at Griffith Observatory, I have always strived to create meaningful learning experiences where people are engaged in discovery. Somewhere in the middle of all that, I was a park ranger of sorts managing education programs and naturalist staff.
When not explaining Einstein's theory of relativity to 10-year olds or training cruise ship staff around the world to provide stargazing presentations to their passengers, I recharge my extrovert batteries by relaxing at home with the cat Dublin, or heading out on adventures with my partner Stephanie. Most recently, we embarked on a 5-day, 800 mile motorcycle camping trip that brought us to some beautiful parts of California. Maybe the Alaska-Canada Highway next?!?!?
I hope you keep looking up at the skies. Feel free to contact me anytime.
