Privacy Policy

America VPN – Secure Proxy ("America VPN," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you use our VPN application and related services.
1. VPN Activity and No-Logs Statement
America VPN does not collect, store, or track your browsing history, DNS queries, websites visited, traffic content, destination URLs, or files transferred through the VPN. We do not use VPN session data, browsing traffic, or DNS traffic to select advertising providers.
Temporary technical data may be processed only as necessary to establish and maintain the VPN connection. It is not used to identify or profile your online activity.
2. Public-IP Country Processing
Before a VPN connection starts, the app may make an HTTPS request to our Firebase-hosted backend. Like any internet request, the request includes the device's current public IP address. The backend processes that public IP ephemerally to infer an approximate two-letter country code using an IP-country service provider (Country.is).
This approximate country is used only to select the advertising provider for the current app session: Russia (RU) selects Yandex Mobile Ads; other countries select Google AdMob. If the lookup fails or a VPN is already active, the app uses the device's region setting locally as a fallback. The app does not use GPS, precise location, VPN exit IP, browsing history, DNS traffic, or VPN traffic content for this decision.
We do not intentionally store or log the public IP or inferred country in our application database for this selection. The selected ad provider is kept in memory only for the current app session. Firebase hosting infrastructure and the IP-country service provider may process ordinary request metadata under their own privacy terms.
3. Other Information We May Process
We and our service providers may process limited information needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the app, including:
- Device and app information, such as device model, operating-system version, app version, advertising identifiers, and general diagnostics.
- App interaction, performance, crash, and connection-status information.
- Selected VPN server country and session status, without browsing or traffic-content logs.
- Subscription status and purchase confirmation supplied by Google Play. We do not receive full payment-card details.
- Information you voluntarily submit when reporting a problem, such as your name, email address, report time, and problem description.
4. How We Use Information
We use limited information to operate and secure the app, establish VPN connections, verify subscriptions, show ads to free users, select the appropriate ad provider, measure app performance, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.
5. Advertising
Free users may see ads. Based on the country-selection process described above, the app initializes only one advertising SDK for the current session: Yandex Mobile Ads for RU or Google AdMob for other countries.
Advertising providers may process advertising identifiers, approximate location, device information, app interactions, and ad-performance data for advertising, fraud prevention, measurement, and related purposes, subject to device settings, consent choices, applicable law, and their own privacy policies.
6. Third-Party Services
Services used by America VPN may include Google Play Services, Google AdMob, Yandex Mobile Ads, Firebase services, Google Play Billing, and Country.is. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
7. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Limited information may be shared with service providers needed to operate the app, provide advertising and analytics, infer approximate country, verify subscriptions, process support requests, prevent fraud, or comply with law. As described above, the backend sends the public IP to its IP-country service provider solely to return an approximate country code.
8. Data Retention and Security
The public IP and inferred country used for ad-provider selection are processed ephemerally and are not intentionally retained in our application database. Other limited information is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described here or as required by law. We use reasonable safeguards, including HTTPS for the country lookup, but no transmission or storage method is completely secure.
9. Your Choices and Rights
You can manage ad personalization and notifications in device settings, stop using the app, and contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of support information you submitted, subject to applicable law.
10. Children's Privacy
America VPN is not intended for children under 13 or the minimum applicable age in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. International Processing
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, where data-protection laws may differ.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post changes on this page and update the effective date.
