Privacy Policy for Blooket Hacker
Last Updated: August 9, 2026
Blooket Hacker ("the Extension") is dedicated to protecting user privacy and maintaining complete transparency regarding browser permissions. This Privacy Policy details how permissions are utilized and how user privacy is safeguarded.
1. ZERO DATA COLLECTION POLICY
Blooket Hacker does NOT collect, harvest, transmit, or store any personal information, browsing history, login credentials, or user telemetry. All extension operations execute 100% locally within your browser.
2. DETAILED PERMISSIONS EXPLANATION & PURPOSE
- Storage Permission ("storage"):
Purpose: The extension uses `chrome.storage.local` exclusively to store your preferred extension options (such as auto-answer state, answer delay speed in milliseconds, HUD position, and feature toggles). This data remains strictly on your local device and is never uploaded anywhere.
- Active Tab Permission ("activeTab"):
Purpose: Allows the extension popup interface to communicate with your currently active Blooket tab when you click the extension icon, enabling real-time setting updates.
- Scripting Permission ("scripting"):
Purpose: Required to inject the floating in-game HUD overlay and CSS choice highlighter styles into active Blooket game tabs so you can control assistant features during gameplay.
- Host Permission ("*://*.blooket.com/*"):
Purpose: Restricted strictly to official Blooket web domains (play.blooket.com, dashboard.blooket.com). This permission enables the content script to detect question elements in real-time, outline correct answer choices, and render game mode helpers.
3. THIRD-PARTY SHARING & NETWORK REQUESTS
The Extension makes zero external network calls. No user data, game data, or usage metrics are shared with third parties or external servers.
4. CONTACT & SUPPORT
For questions regarding this Privacy Policy or extension operations, please reach out through our official Chrome Web Store support page.
