PRIVACY POLICY - BULLET FORCE MOD MENU & CUSTOM CROSSHAIR
Last Updated: October 2026
1. INTRODUCTION & CORE PRIVACY COMMITMENT
Bullet Force Mod Menu ("the extension", "we", "our", or "us") is an open, client-side browser utility built to enhance the aiming HUD and visual gaming experience for players of Bullet Force.
We are firmly committed to user privacy and strict data minimization. Our philosophy is simple: your data belongs to you. This extension does not collect, record, track, transmit, share, or sell any personal information, telemetry, game statistics, or browsing activity.
2. DATA COLLECTION: ZERO DATA POLICY
To be 100% explicit:
- No Personal Information: We do NOT collect your name, email address, physical location, IP address, device fingerprints, or system identifiers.
- No Game Data / Credentials: We do NOT intercept, store, or log your Bullet Force username, password, tokens, chat messages, match stats, or in-game purchases.
- No Browsing History: We do NOT monitor which websites you visit, how long you browse, or the content of any other browser tabs or windows.
- No Analytics or Trackers: We do NOT integrate Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Sentry, advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or external API endpoints. There are zero background network transmissions.
3. PERMISSIONS BREAKDOWN & WHY THEY ARE USED
Under Google Chrome's Manifest V3 specifications, extensions must declare permissions to interact with pages and store preferences. Below is a detailed explanation of each permission requested:
a) "storage" Permission:
- Purpose: Enables the extension to remember your customized crosshair configuration across browser sessions.
- What is saved: Purely visual configuration parameters (e.g., your selected dot color '#ff2b2b', dot size '4px', vertical offset '-23px', reticle style 'dot', and launcher visibility state).
- Location: Stored 100% locally on your machine via Chrome's native storage API (`chrome.storage.local`). This data never leaves your device and is never uploaded anywhere.
b) Host Permissions (Game Domains):
- Targeted domains: `*.crazygames.com`, `bullet-force.com`, `*.gamepix.com`, `kbhgames.com`, `miniplay.com`, and other web portals hosting the Bullet Force web game.
- Purpose: Required strictly to inject the visual crosshair overlay (`content.css`) and the draggable settings launcher (`content.js`) into the Bullet Force game container and embedded game iframes (`all_frames: true`).
- Scope: The extension only executes on pages directly hosting Bullet Force. It has zero access to your other tabs, banking websites, social media, or search engines.
4. ARE ALL THESE PERMISSIONS STRICTLY NECESSARY?
YES, and here is why:
- Without the "storage" permission, any crosshair color, size, or vertical offset changes you make would be wiped clean the moment you refresh or close the game tab, forcing you to reconfigure your settings every single match.
- Without host permissions on Bullet Force gaming portals, the browser would block the extension from rendering the crosshair reticle on top of the WebGL/Unity game canvas, rendering the tool non-functional.
- Crucially, we intentionally AVOIDED broad, invasive permissions. We do NOT request `<all_urls>`, `webRequest`, `cookies`, `tabs`, `management`, or `history`. The extension uses the absolute minimum permissions permissible to deliver its core functionality safely and effectively.
5. CLIENT-SIDE ARCHITECTURE & OPEN INTEGRITY
The extension code runs entirely locally within your browser sandbox. You can inspect the source code files at any time to verify that no network requests, tracking beacons, or obfuscated scripts exist.
6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Because we collect zero personal data from any user, we fully comply with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and global privacy standards.
7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
Should any updates be made to the extension that alter permission requirements, this privacy policy will be updated accordingly. However, our zero-tracking commitment will remain unchanged.
