Off-roading can be quite dangerous if you think about it so why not refresh your first aid skills every so often, blended with a day out in the mud.
Our workshop begins at the training centre, just off the A63 where we deliver a lesson on Basic Life Support before going over the route of the day. This should take no more than an hour and it's a good excuse for a brew.
We then set off on a drive, taking in some green lanes and stopping for lunch. At a natural pause we'll cover the primary survey and dealing with breaks and bleeds, say while recovering someone.
We'll then head back to the centre around 1600hrs, but don't feel like you have to come back to the centre if you don't want to.
Things you need:
4x4
Insurance
Basic recovery kit
Wet/Warm kit
Cost for the day: £30 per person.
