Expense Tracker Pro is an offline-first personal finance and expense tracking application designed to help users manage their financial information.
Expense Tracker Pro can be used without creating an account. When the app is used as a guest, financial and planning information is stored locally on the user's device.
Creating an account is optional. Users who choose to create an account can use cloud synchronization for certain transaction and account data.
If you use Expense Tracker Pro without creating an account, we do not collect or store your personal or financial information on our servers.
Your financial and planning information is stored locally on your device. This may include:
Transactions
Accounts
Categories
Budgets
Debts
Savings goals
Shopping lists
Other financial planning information
This information remains on your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share it.
The optional Currency Converter requires an internet connection and retrieves exchange-rate information from a third-party exchange-rate service. No personal or financial information is intentionally sent to the exchange-rate service as part of this request.
Creating an Expense Tracker Pro account is optional.
If you create an account, Expense Tracker Pro uses Firebase Authentication, a service provided by Google, for account authentication.
Information associated with your account may include:
Your name, if provided
Your email address
A Firebase user identifier
Authentication credentials are handled through Firebase Authentication.
For signed-in users, transaction and account data is synchronized with Firebase Cloud Firestore. This allows supported data to be backed up and accessed when you sign in on another supported device.
Only transaction and account data is synchronized with Firestore.
Other financial and planning information, including categories, budgets, debts, savings goals, shopping lists, and similar locally stored information, is not synchronized with Firestore and remains on your device.
Expense Tracker Pro allows users to manually export certain information, including backups and reports.
Depending on the feature being used, users may export information in formats such as JSON or CSV. Users may also generate and share reports, including tax-related reports, using the device's operating-system sharing functionality.
You control where exported information is sent.
Expense Tracker Pro does not automatically upload manually exported files to Google Drive, email services, cloud-storage providers, or other third-party services.
If you choose to share an exported file with another application or service, the information you share will be subject to the privacy practices and policies of that application or service.
Expense Tracker Pro may request certain device permissions to provide specific features.
Camera access may be used to capture images of receipts.
Receipt text recognition is performed on the device. Receipt images are not automatically uploaded to our servers as part of this feature.
Biometric authentication may be used for the optional App Lock feature.
Authentication is performed using your device's operating-system security mechanisms.
Expense Tracker Pro does not receive or store your fingerprints, facial recognition data, biometric templates, or other biometric information.
Notification permission may be used to provide local reminders, including reminders related to recurring transactions.
These reminders are scheduled and delivered locally on your device.

The Currency Converter retrieves public exchange-rate information and does not intentionally transmit your financial records, transactions, name, or email address to the exchange-rate service.
Expense Tracker Pro uses certain third-party services to provide optional functionality.
For users who choose to create an account, Google Firebase services are used for:
User authentication through Firebase Authentication
Cloud synchronization and storage of transaction and account data through Firebase Cloud Firestore
Firebase services are provided by Google and are subject to Google's applicable privacy and security practices.
The optional Currency Converter obtains current exchange-rate information from open.er-api.com.
Expense Tracker Pro does not intentionally send your financial records, transactions, name, or email address to this service.
Expense Tracker Pro uses Google AdMob, provided by Google, to display advertisements.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and process certain information for purposes such as providing and measuring advertisements, analytics, and fraud prevention. Depending on the device, settings, region, consent choices, and applicable law, this information may include:
IP address, which may be used to estimate general location
Device and account identifiers, including advertising-related identifiers where available
Information about interactions with the app and advertisements
Diagnostic and performance information
Google and its advertising partners may process information in accordance with their respective privacy policies and applicable consent choices.
For users in regions where consent is required, including the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Expense Tracker Pro uses a consent management mechanism to request and manage applicable advertising and privacy choices. Users may be able to consent, decline consent, or manage their privacy choices.
Expense Tracker Pro does not sell users' financial records, transactions, account balances, budgets, debts, savings goals, or other financial planning information to advertisers.
Expense Tracker Pro does not currently use Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics.
Application errors generated by Expense Tracker Pro itself may be stored locally on your device for diagnostic purposes. These locally stored logs are not automatically transmitted to the developer, although third-party SDKs used by the app may process diagnostic information as described above.
Expense Tracker Pro is designed to keep your data locally on your device by default.
For users who enable optional account functionality, applicable data transmitted between Expense Tracker Pro and Firebase is transmitted using encrypted connections.
No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We take reasonable measures appropriate to the functionality of the app to protect information handled through Expense Tracker Pro.
Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their devices and account credentials.
Expense Tracker Pro also provides an optional App Lock feature that can use your device's authentication mechanisms for additional local protection.
Users who create an Expense Tracker Pro account can permanently delete their account and associated cloud-synchronized data.

Deleting your online account does not necessarily delete information stored locally on devices where Expense Tracker Pro has been used.
Local information may remain on the device until it is deleted through the app, the application's local data is cleared, or the application is removed, depending on the device and operating system.
Expense Tracker Pro is not directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
If we become aware that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected contrary to applicable requirements, we will take appropriate steps to delete that information.
We may update this Privacy Policy when Expense Tracker Pro's functionality, data practices, third-party services, or applicable legal requirements change.
Any changes will be published on this page, and the Last Updated date at the top of this Privacy Policy will be revised accordingly.
