About

This workshop will provide a forum for discussing the physical, chemical, and dynamical processes that shape the evolution and diversity of planetary environments, from planetary formation and interior evolution to atmospheric and climate processes, Earth evolution, habitability, and the emergence of life. Covering both exoplanets and Solar System planets, the workshop aims to integrate perspectives across planetary science, Earth science, astronomy, and astrobiology to advance a unified understanding of planetary evolution. Particular emphasis will be placed on connecting theoretical and numerical studies with high-precision observations from current and future facilities, including JWST, Ariel, and the TMT. Through an interactive retreat format, the workshop will foster open discussions, encourage collaboration across disciplines and career stages, and strengthen a cohesive research community dedicated to understanding the origin, evolution, and habitability of planets.
