I did a lil bit of check and found two sites that say it is an keylogger and that it takes screenshots of my computer. THE SCARIEST PART was that none of my antivirus tools spotted it. Not Norton Free security scan (although it found 2 infostealer.gambas), not F-secure, Not AVG, not anything i had on my pc. They found the files, cheked them and found nothing, allthough it is clearly there! I need help now guys. I need to get this thing out of my PC.

OK, re-done the full system scan. This time my system hung AFTER closing the stopped antivirus window. No response to any key or mouse button. Not even Ctrl-Alt-Del did work. Hard reset was the only solution. Otherwise, the same behaviour: scanning stopped at the same folder as in my previous attempts.
Regardless of what anti virus and/or anti spyware product you end up choosing, please reconsider using CPF as the foundation of your security layer. The better the foundation, the more solid a structure can be be built on it, and CPF is simply the best.
I just installed the Comodo packages on a brand new laptop. In scanning with the antivirus package, I also experienced a hang on a file that contained a very large PowerPoint file (many graphics, links, etc.). After reading the related postings, I removed ppt from the files to be scanned and, this time, the scan was successfully completed.
I have version 3.5, which I purchased 12/05, however, I have not a clue what my key number is nor how to retrieve it. The 3.5 interface doesn't help and the support seems to be through forums only. Any suggestions? I do love ewido by the way!
I installed version 4 and did like it until I noticed that it actvated "guard" without me wanting it, I wanted to stick with the free version. I clicked on "deactivate" and it said that it was deactivatd, but at each startup it is loaded even if it is not active. I tried all the things I know, MSCONFIG, registry edit, nothing worked. i uninstalled it and for some reason reinstalled it and it came up "free version", but "guard" was still active in the processes. This bothers me just a little, so I guess I will go back to 3.5 and have to go looking for the updates manually.
