Ahmad Beyh started his journey at the American University of Beirut where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. During his undergraduate studies, he received training in EEG which he used to investigate the role of the prefrontal cortex in self-control. By the time he completed his degree, neuroscience had won him over, so in 2014 he joined the MSc Neuroscience programme at King's College London. His interest in the structure and anatomy of the brain led him to specialise in tractography which he used to explore white matter pathways in the human visual system for my MSc thesis. Laura Zapparoli

"The Sense Of Agency: Behavioral And Neurofunctional Correlates"

Laura Zapparoli is a post-doc researcher at the fMRI Unit of IRCCS Galeazzi, in Milan. She received her PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Milano-Bicocca, after spending one year as visiting research fellow at the Sobell Department of Motor Neuroscience and Movement Disorders (Institute of Neurology - University College London). Her main research interest is motor control, with particular reference to the study of the different stages of action production: from the more abstract aspects (i.e. the different components of intention to move and the mechanism of action representation), through explicit motor execution and motor awareness. More recently, she is focusing her research on the investigation of the different mental processes related to intentional actions and on the study of the sense of agency. External links.
