What Lives Inside
Written By Isaac Travers
[Skyler and Krieg sit on the Precipice near the ocean on the planet Fooge taking in the beautiful atmosphere. The crew have been here for an hour or so for a nice picnic away from all the dangers and thrills that have been through together, The doctor is just doing a few final touches to the TARDIS before they take off.]
SKYLER
At last, finally we can rest from all the thrills of the universe!
KREIG
Absolutely Skyler, I've started to get the hang of just relaxing by a cliff as the waves go by. I wish this could be like this every day.
SKYLER
It's better to take the moment in for a while rather than waste it. Hey Doctor, are we ready to go now?
DOCTOR
Almost there, just a few finishing touches.
KREIG
You've been saying that for the last three minutes
DOCTOR
Always good to do some minor checks before we head off just in case we missed out or anything, I think by now we're ready to leave.
SKYLER
Well, it was fun being here for a good while, hopefully we can come back again.
KREIG
Absolutely, I’d definitely go for a swim next time.
[The Crew enter inside the tardis as the ship starts to take off from the planet, meanwhile in the console room the doctor is pressing though all the dials and switches Assuring everything is all settled.]
SKYLER
So, any clues where you'll be planning to take us next?
DOCTOR
I honestly don't know Skyler, I think since we've been going to so many places recently it's never given me the chance to actually show you around the tardis a bit more.
KREIG
Or, even some flying lessons on how the tardis works, you've never let me touch the controls
DOCTOR
The last time I gave anyone the privilege to control the ship,it ended up crashing in the middle of a soccer match between Liverpool and Manchester in 1985
SKYLER
This time we’ll be very careful with the ship, I pinky promise, you
DOCTOR
I'll make it easy for you by setting it to basic mode.
SKYLER
Basic? Why? Because we're children to you?
DOCTOR
Absolutely not, It's not like having your learners permit when driving a car. You want to get the hang of it a bit more or you’ll end up crashing it on the first day?
[And with a price of a few switches, the doctor sets the tardis onto basic mode, One switch he ends up deactivating is the isomorphic controls, Mysterious force enters into the ship, but it's not seen by the tardis team]
DOCTOR
Righto, my dear friends, Who would like to go first.
KREIG
Count me in first, I've been around the longest so I should have the first turn.
SKYLER
Why not ladies first for a change?
[It almost turns into a bickering fight. However, the doctor finds a solution.]
DOCTOR
No need to fight you two, everyone gets a turn. Skyler, I'll let you go first.
SKYLER
Thank you, kind, sir
[Skyler then presses a few buttons on the tightest console, but all of a sudden the tide is completely shut down.]
SKYLER
(Skeptical)
Umm, Doctor was that supposed to happen?
DOCTOR
I wouldn't think so, something must've gone wrong.
[Suddenly, the TARDIS shudders violently, throwing the trio off balance. Lights flicker erratically, casting eerie shadows across the room.]
SKYLER
(alarmed)
What's happening?!
DOCTOR
(frantic)
I don't know, Skyler! Something's taken control of the TARDIS!
KREIG
Well, this is a blast If only you put seatbelts in when I ask you to!
DOCTOR
Again, I was heavily busy at that time!
DOCTOR
(grim)
We seem to be caught in some sort of temporal anomaly. Sensors are off the charts!
[The Doctor rushes to the console, frantically typing commands as the TARDIS continues to buck and sway.]
DOCTOR
(intense)
We need to regain control before it's too late.
KREIG
Best we hold on
[With determination etched on their faces, the Doctor and his companions brace themselves for the danger ahead, knowing that the fate of the TARDIS—and perhaps their entire Lives hangs. Suddenly, an explosion occurs as the rotor cracks, causing a massive explosion inside the ship.]
TITLES
[INT. TARDIS CORRIDORS]
[The TARDIS corridors are dimly lit, casting long shadows that dance with the flickering emergency lights as the cloister bell rings. Skyler stirs from unconsciousness, her head throbbing as she blinks away disorientation. She scrambles to her feet, eyes darting around the unfamiliar surroundings.]
SKYLER
(panicked)
Kreig! Kreig, wake up!
[Beside her, Kreig groans, slowly regaining consciousness. He blinks groggily, taking in their surroundings with a mix of confusion and alarm.]
KREIG
(grimacing)
What... What happened?
SKYLER
(shaking her head)
I don't know. The last thing I remember was the explosion that happened in the tardis, And then I woke up right here.
KREIG
Where are we Skyler?
SKYLER
Beats me, but it looks similar to the tardis, We must be in one of the corridors
[Without warning, a holographic projection materializes before them—a flickering image of the Doctor, their expression grave.]
DOCTOR HOLOGRAM
Voice interface enabled.
KREIG
Doctor there you are, where even are you?
DOCTOR HOLOGRAM
I am not The Doctor. I am a voice interface.
SKYLER
Ok Tardis hologram thing or whatever, Could you mind telling both of us what on earth is going on
KREIG
Yeah and what even is that ringing noise?
DOCTOR HOLOGRAM
That would be the sound of the Cloister Bell, as of right now The TARDIS has been severely damaged from what is to believed an unknown force that is looming through the cloister room, The only place the ship has materialized is at the edge of the universe.
KREIG
So basically, we're in the middle of nowhere?
DOCTOR HOLOGRAM
Unfortunately, yes.
SKYLER
Well that's not great, Also, any explanation on why we’re in the middle of one of the random corridors.
DOCTOR HOLOGRAM
The main console room will be able to access for a while due to The radiation levels inside, It is however repairing itself.
KREIG
And how long is that gonna take?
DOCTOR HOLOGRAM
Honestly, I can't tell. Time passes quite quickly when you've lived in the ship for millions of years.
KREIG
So you don't know, do you?
DOCTOR HOLOGRAM
Unfortunately, no Kreig. However, there are some safe spots that you could easily get to, one of them being the secondary control room Which may help you find where the doctor could be.
SKYLER
Well looks like we're gonna have to find our way there.
KREIG
That sounds like a good plan.
DOCTOR HOLOGRAM
Now before you two start making your way to the secondary console room, I should try to warn you, This place is a lot like a labyrinth maze, meaning all sorts of rooms will change and corridors may lead to uncertain places around the ship.
SKYLER
But how will we tell which way we're going? Is the correct path in which one leads us to an unknown area in the ship?
DOCTOR HOLOGRAM
(matter-of-fact)
That's a mystery you'll have to solve later. For now, focus on getting back to the console room. And be cautious. The TARDIS is in a vulnerable state. There's something else you need to know... beware of the Entity that has taken over the ship, it may have taken over the doctor?.
[The hologram flickers momentarily before dissipating into thin air, leaving Skyler and Kreig to exchange puzzled glances.]
KREIG
(skeptical)
The Entity? What does that even mean?
SKYLER
(uneasy)
I don't know, but I have a feeling we're about to find out.
[With uncertainty hanging in the air, Skyler and Kreig steel themselves for the journey ahead, knowing that their encounter with the mysterious figure is inevitable.]
[INT. TARDIS - CORRIDORS - NIGHT]
[Skyler and Kreig traverse the labyrinthine corridors of the TARDIS, their footsteps echoing softly in the emptiness. Amidst the uncertainty and danger, they find a moment of respite to contemplate their future.]
SKYLER
(pensive)
You know Kreig, Do you ever think about what happens after all this?
[Skyler casts a thoughtful glance at Kreig, her expression tinged with a mix of contemplation and longing.]
KREIG
You mean after we fix the tardis and find the doctor
SKYLER
That too, but also life after the doctor, The time when we're starting to get a little bit too old for it and we just move on
KREIG
(somber)
Sometimes. It's hard not to, especially with everything that's been happening lately.
[They pause, leaning against the smooth walls of the TARDIS, finding solace in each other's company amidst the chaos.]
SKYLER
(softly)
I always imagined living a normal life, you know? Settling down, maybe starting a family, Something that I've hoped one day to happen ever since dealing with the wolf kind.
KREIG
(wistful)
Yeah, I know what you mean. It's a tempting thought, especially when you consider all the risks and dangers we face out here.
[As they walk, memories of their adventures flicker through their minds like fragments of a dream—encounters with aliens, battles against tyrants, and moments of pure wonder.]
KREIG
(reflective)
But then I think about all the incredible things we've experienced together. The places we've seen, the people we've met... I can't imagine giving that up.
SKYLER
(nodding)
Me neither. Despite everything, I wouldn't trade our time in the TARDIS for anything. It's been... unforgettable.
[They share a bittersweet smile, knowing that their journey with the Doctor will eventually come to an end, but the memories they've forged will endure.]
SKYLER
(softly)
Look, We may not be with the Doctor forever, but the experiences we've had will stay with us. And who knows? Maybe one day, we'll look back on this and realize it was the adventure of a lifetime.
[With newfound resolve, Skyler and Kreig continue their journey through the TARDIS, cherishing each moment they have left in the infinite expanse of time and space.]
[INT. TARDIS - SECONDARY CONSOLE ROOM - CONTINUOUS]
Skyler and Kreig step into the secondary console room (which here is the season 27 Console room), The soft hum of the TARDIS's engines fills the air, a comforting presence amidst the chaos that surrounds them.
KREIG
(excitedly)
Look, Skyler! This must be the secondary console room.
SKYLER
It looks a lot more brighter than the usual console that we have,
(surprised)
Well now that looks cool having the console held up from the ceiling
KREIG
I may not know much about touching tardis buttons, But if we can access the controls here, we might be able to plot a course to the cloister room.
[Skyler nods eagerly, her eyes scanning the room for any signs of a control interface.]
SKYLER
(determined)
Let's see if we can find a map of the TARDIS. It should help us navigate to the cloister room more efficiently.
[They move towards a nearby console, fingers flying over the controls as they access the TARDIS's systems. After a moment of searching, a holographic display materializes before them, depicting a detailed map of the TARDIS's layout.]
SKYLER
(excitedly)
Got it! Now, let's see... if we take this route through to the library, then through the swimming pool, downstairs to the vehicle room, straight to the greenhouse, and finally through this corridor... we should reach the cloister room.
[Kreig studies the map intently, a sense of determination shining in his eyes.]
KREIG
(confident)
Sounds like a plan. Let's not waste any time. The sooner we reach the cloister room, the sooner we can figure out what's going on.
[With renewed purpose, Skyler and Kreig set off on their journey through the TARDIS, Suddenly, a figure emerges from the shadows—a silhouette bearing a striking resemblance to the Doctor. His features are familiar yet subtly altered, his demeanor carrying a hint of enigmatic charm.]
"DOCTOR"
(greeting with a smile)
Ah, there you are! I've been expecting you. I trust you're both well?
[Skyler and Kreig exchange wary glances, uncertainty clouding their expressions. This figure may look like the Doctor, but there's something off about him—a subtle deviation from the eccentricity and warmth they've come to expect.]
KREIG
(cautiously)
Who... who are you?
"DOCTOR"
(reassuringly)
Why, I'm the Doctor, of course! I understand you're on a mission to reach the Cloister room In order to get the tardis back up and running. Lucky for you, I happen to know a shortcut.
SKYLER
(skeptical)
How do we know you're really the Doctor? You seem... different.
KREIG
Yeah, especially with that new attire you have on, you’d usually have your fedora with you.
"DOCTOR"
(smiling knowingly)
Ah, I suppose I have. Time changes us all, my friends. But rest assured, I am still the Doctor—that you know and remember.
SKYLER
Um, could you please give Krieg and I a moment here.
[Both Kreig and Skyler turn their backs away from the “Doctor” and Huddle in together to try and figure out what they have just seen.]
KREIG
There's something rather funny going on with the doctor, Not only has his clothes changed. He doesn't even act like him.
SKYLER
I’ve got the same feeling too, here’s an idea. Why don’t we play along with whoever this is and once we get to the cloister room, We can try and get some answers out of him.
KREIG
Sounds good
"DOCTOR"
Are you two going to take very long because you have very little time on this ship if you don't get to the close room.
SKYLER
Okay, we finally have come to a decision.
KREIG
You take us through the shortcut and we can help you with what you need.
"DOCTOR"
Excellent work you too, just follow me though here and we’ll get there in a jiffy.
SKYLER
(resolute)
Alright, Doctor. Lead the way.
[The “Doctor” gestures for Kreig and Skyler to follow as they continue their journey through the TARDIS.]
[INT. TARDIS - LIBRARY - CONTINUOUS]
[Skyler, Kreig, and the "Doctor" are surrounded by towering shelves of books in the TARDIS library. They move between the rows, their footsteps muffled by the thick carpeting, their expressions tense with determination.]
[INT. TARDIS - LIBRARY - NIGHT]
"DOCTOR"
Not to far now, my dears
SKYLER
Well, at least we found the tardis library
KREIG
(eyeing the shelves)
Perhaps we'll find something useful here.
SKYLER
(nodding)
Agreed. Let's split up and search for any clues on how to get the TARDIS back on track.
[As they scour the shelves, Skyler's gaze falls upon a collection of classic literature. She picks up a worn copy of "The Time Machine" by H.G. Wells, a thoughtful expression crossing her face.]
SKYLER
(pondering)
Interesting... perhaps there's a clue in these stories about time travel.
[Meanwhile, Kreig rummages through a stack of dusty tomes, his brow furrowed in concentration. He pulls out a thick manual, its cover adorned with the symbol of the TARDIS.]
KREIG
(excitedly)
I think I found something!
[Skyler rushes over to Kreig's side, her eyes widening in anticipation as he opens the manual.]
SKYLER
(impressed)
The TARDIS manual! That's exactly what we need.
"DOCTOR"
I thought I lost that book years ago, Who needs instructions when you can learn from scratch.
[As Skyler flips through the pages, her eyes alight with newfound hope, she comes across a crucial passage.]
SKYLER
(astonished)
Listen to this... "In the event of a power surge or destabilization, the Eye of Harmony must be closed off to prevent further damage to the TARDIS."
KREIG
The eye of Harmony, what's that?
"DOCTOR"
It's what the tardis gets its power from, It was originally on Galifrey thousands of years ago. Now The ship is powered through an alternative energy source, with the use of the eye of harmony being placed in each tardis.
[The "Doctor" steps forward, a frown creasing their brow as they regard Skyler with skepticism.]
"DOCTOR"
(dismissive)
I should warn you closing off the Eye of Harmony is far too risky. We can't afford to tamper with such power.
[But Kreig and Skyler exchange determined glances, their resolve unshakeable.]
KREIG
(firm)
We don't have a choice, Doctor. If we want to save the TARDIS—and ourselves—we have to follow the manual's instructions.
[Skyler nods in agreement, her voice unwavering as she addresses the "Doctor."]
SKYLER
(determined)
We're doing this. With or without your help.
"DOCTOR"
(Quietly to himself)
But, very well then child, Best I warn you, it will be the end of you
[With a shared sense of purpose, Kreig, Skyler, and the "Doctor" set off towards the cloister room, They didn't find themselves towards two large wooden doors. The “Doctor” Pulls the doors open as the crew enter a huge cathedral-like space complete with autumn leaves on the floor and a pair of bats flying around.]
"DOCTOR"
My dear companions, I present to you the cloister room!
KREIG
Doctor this is a really nice room, but why not for their time bats in here?
"DOCTOR"
Oh, that's a good story for another time.
[The three start to walk closer to the eye of Harmony, which is Admitting heavy power as the light from the inside causing a rift thought the ship]
SKYLER
(intently)
There must be a way to close off the Eye of Harmony. I just need to find the right procedure...
[The "Doctor" steps forward, their voice tinged with urgency as they address their companions.]
"DOCTOR"
(insistent)
Skyler, Kreig, listen to me. Keeping the Eye open is crucial for the TARDIS's stability. We can't risk destabilizing the power core.
KREIG:
(skeptical)
And how do we know we can trust you? You've been acting strangely ever since you walked into The secondary control room.
[Before the "Doctor" can respond, Kreig's patience wears thin, his frustration boiling over.]
KREIG:
(determined)
I've had enough of this! We're closing off the Eye, whether you like it or not.
[With a swift motion, Kreig moves to activate the controls, but the "Doctor" blocks his path, their expression twisted with malice.]
"DOCTOR"
(smirking)
Oh, I'm afraid it's not that simple, dear Kreig. You see, I have other plans for the Eye of Harmony.
KREIG
(horrified)
What the hell do you mean?
"DOCTOR" (THE MASTER)
For you see my dear Kreig, I am merely inside his body. For I am The Master and you shall do as you are told.
[Kreig's eyes widen in realization as the truth dawns upon him. The "Doctor" before them is not who they claim to be—it is the Master, the Doctor's oldest foe.]
SKYLER
The Master?
MASTER
I see the Doctor hasn't told you much about me, To shea on him.
KREIG
But how could it be? What the hell have you done with the doctor?
MASTER
Didn't I tell you you stupid boy, I've taken over his body. You see, the last time I met the doctor I was on the verge of death because I have been Suffering from a disease known only as Sudden degeneration.
SKYLER
And that’s lethal to time lords is it.
MASTER
How very clever you are, Miss Skyler. By the time I reached my previous incarnation, I was getting worse. A blast by a Mondrax Rifle triggered my next regeneration. By that time the disease was so bad, it caused my entire body to decay into nothing more, but a corpse.
KREIG
Fairpoint, but how did you even get into the tardis?
MASTER
I managed to find a way by Absorbing energy from the Time Vortex Within my thought, which managed to give me more power than I needed. By now, I am but now an entity having to jump from one body to another. I did try through multiple bodies, but each of them have very little lifespans
SKYLER
So That's how you manage to break into the tardis.
MASTER
And I will die unless I can absorb enough power from the Eye of Harmony so that I can obtain this body once and for all.
KREIG
You ain't gonna be winning this Master, You're gonna give me back the Doctor’s body whether you like it or not
[The Master grabs Krieg and slams him down against the rear of the eye, willing to push him into the eye.]
MASTER
Your Doctor is dead!
[Craig starts struggling as he is being choked by the master]
SKYLER
What are you doing to him, let him go, psycho!
MASTER
If I were to throw you into the eye, you'd be nothing more, but an echo through the time vortex as all your atoms will slowly disappear.
[As the Master's grip tightens around Kreig's throat, Skyler watches in horror, her heart pounding with fear and desperation.]
MASTER
Now then we can come to some sort of an agreement if I've made myself clear.
KREIG
I wouldn't listen to you in 1 million years.
MASTER
(peeved off)
Oh Christ, you’re no fun at all.
[The Master the Thoughts Kreig through the room, causing him to crash near a glass wall Shattering it to pieces]
SKYLER
(Horrified)
KREIG! Why do you have to kill him? You sick freak?!
MASTER
Don't be such a drama queen, He’ll get to live for now.
SKYLER
How long have you been treating people like voodoo dolls in your games?
MASTER
As the doctor has told you, I'll explain later.
SKYLER
For goodness sake, just stop this! It Isn't fun at all.
MASTER
Stop, but the party is only just getting started.
[Just as all hope seems lost, a flicker of light dances across the Doctor's face, a glimmer of regeneration energy pulsing beneath the surface.]
SKYLER
(excitedly)
Doctor...?
MASTER
Oh for goodness sake you stupid girl, what did I just tell you. Your doctor is dead? I am what remains.
SKYLER
Well, then, what is all that energy coming out from your hand?
[The Master's eyes widen in disbelief as the Doctor's consciousness begins to fight back, pushing against the dark force that has consumed their body. With a primal roar, the Doctor's form begins to shift and contort, regeneration energy cascading in brilliant waves of light. With a flash of light, Both Time lords Split into two as the Mysterious doctor’s body has returned to normal.]
MASTER
(roaring with rage)
No... this cannot be happening!
[With a final surge of energy, the Doctor breaks free from the Master's grasp, their body engulfed in a blinding flash of light. When the brilliance subsides, the Doctor stands before them once more, restored to their former self, a beacon of hope amidst the chaos.]
DOCTOR
Oh yeah, I think I'm me again.
SKYLER
Oh my goodness, doctor you’re back!
DOCTOR
Oh, you know me Skyler I always have another way out, Do you happen to know where Kreig is?
SKYLER
He got knocked out pretty cold by the master.
DOCTOR
The Master, Just as I suspected, he seem to use my body to try and trick you in opening the eye of harmony, You better try and seal it off before the tire gets pulled inside out completely
SKYLER
(apprehensive)
Um Doctor, look...
[Both The Doctor and Skyler watch as the withered and decaying form of the Master rises up from the floor And laughs maniacally.]
MASTER
You really think it was that easy to stop me, Due to my body absorbing enough time vortex energy, I've become more powerful than any time lord has ever dreamed of
[Skyler's eyes widen in horror as she takes in the sight, a shiver running down her spine.]
SKYLER
How can you still be alive and why does he look A rotting version of skeletor?
DOCTOR
He’s merely what remains of his previous self, Only now but dying form.
MASTER
The Degeneration took control of me very badly, especially in my last life. But now I've become a God, Look up on me now. Doctor I now wheeled the vortex and can choose whoever lives or dies. And with the power of your ship, I can use it as a weapon to destroy all that face me, I could wipe out Gaillfrey or earth as a startup And then the entire universe
DOCTOR
You won't win this master I know you won't
MASTER
We may find out right here and now, shall we
DOCTOR
(resolute)
Skyler, I need you to get Kreig to the sick bay. Make sure he's alright.
[The Doctor's expression darkens as they realize that the Master, though defeated, still clings to a semblance of life. With a heavy sigh, the Doctor turns to Skyler, their voice filled with determination.]
DOCTOR
I'll find you and let you know, now hurry
Skyler nods, her heart heavy with concern for their friend. With one last glance at the Doctor and the fallen Master, she hurries off to find Kreig, leaving the Doctor to confront their oldest foe alone. Alone in the cloister room, the Doctor squares off against the Master, their eyes locking in a silent battle of wills. With a guttural snarl, the Master lunges forward, his twisted form contorting with rage as he seeks to destroy the Doctor once and for all. With the Eye of Harmony, still open both time, lords, clinging onto their dear life, hoping that both of them don't get sucked in]
MASTER
Doctor help me..
DOCTOR
(determined)
It's over, Master. You've lost, I tried to save you with everything that I could, but you took it all for granted.
MASTER
But, we'll die together!
DOCTOR
I'm sorry master, it's time that I let you go.
[As the struggle reaches its climax, the Doctor maneuvers the Master towards the pulsating vortex of the Eye of Harmony. With a final, desperate lunge, the Master is sucked into the swirling maelstrom, his anguished cries echoing through the chamber.]
MASTER
(Screaming)
Nooooooooooo, DOCTOR!
[The Doctor watches solemnly as the vortex consumes his nemesis, sealing him away within the timeless depths of the time vortex forever. With a heavy heart, the Doctor turns away from the Eye of Harmony, Whilst he has defeated his old enemy. A heavy hint of sadness fills the doctor's heart for he knew that the master would someday die, but he didn't want it to be like this.]
DOCTOR
(Breathing shakily)
I'm sorry, Master, for all of this. You deserve so much better, but now you can rest forever in the vortex.
[As the Doctor leaves the cloister room behind, their footsteps echoing softly in the corridors of the TARDIS, they make their way to the sickbay where Skyler tends to Kreig's injuries. The gentle hum of the TARDIS's systems fills the air, a soothing backdrop to the scene before them.]
SKYLER
(relieved)
Doctor, you're back.
[The Doctor offers Skyler a warm smile, their eyes crinkling with genuine concern as they approach Kreig's bedside.]
DOCTOR
(gently)
Well the good news it's all over now, How's our Kreig doing?
[Kreig offers a weak smile in return, his spirits lifted by the sight of the Doctor's familiar face.]
KREIG
(breathlessly)
Better now that you're back here, Doctor.
[The Doctor nods, a sense of relief washing over them as they take in the sight of their companions safe and sound.]
DOCTOR:
(softly)
I'm glad to hear it, Kreig.
[As Skyler tends to Kreig's wounds, the two companions exchange a curious glance, their thoughts turning to the fate of the Master.]
SKYLER
(puzzled)
What do you think happened to the Master, Doctor?
DOCTOR
Well he's gone now, Got sucked into the eye of harmony again, long story
SKYLER
Are you sure he's really gone?
[The Doctor's expression grows thoughtful, a hint of amusement dancing in their eyes.]
DOCTOR
(chuckling)
Oh, I know the Master. Always finding a way to cause trouble. I wouldn't be surprised if he turned up again someday.
SKYLER
So now that everything is all sorted and calm, we could easily go back to the console room, right?
DOCTOR
Well I think so by this time, yes.
[As the Doctor leads Skyler and Kreig back to the console room, eager to see the state of his beloved TARDIS after the ordeal. But as the crew step through the doors, they're greeted by a sight that takes their breath away. The console room has undergone a remarkable transformation, its once-familiar features now adorned with a Diesel punk and nautical aesthetic. A red console panel dominates the center of the room, surrounded by intricate brass fixtures and gleaming glass dials. The time rotor pulses with a vibrant energy, casting a warm glow throughout the chamber. The Doctor's eyes widen in astonishment, a smile spreading across their face as they take in the sight before them.]
DOCTOR
(amazed)
Oh, would you look at that... It's magnificent!
[Skyler and Kreig share in the Doctor's awe, their gazes sweeping across the newly refurbished console room with wonder.]
KREIG
Would you look at that the Tardis seem to have decorated itself, I quite like it actually
SKYLER
(excitedly)
It's like something out of a steampunk dream!
KREIG
(impressed)
Seriously I never would have imagined the TARDIS could look like this.
DOCTOR
You too happened to enter the secondary control room and believe me, There have been multiple console rooms over the years.
[The Doctor's attention is drawn to a small compartment tucked away beneath the controls. With a curious grin, they reach inside and retrieve a sleek, futuristic device being his new sonic screwdriver.]
DOCTOR
(excited)
And look what else we have here... a new sonic screwdriver!
[The Doctor activates the device, a soft blue light emanating from its tip as it hums to life. With a flick of their wrist, the sonic screwdriver extends into a longer, more versatile form, eliciting gasps of amazement from Skyler and Kreig.]
SKYLER
(in awe)
That's incredible!
KREIG
(impressed)
I've never seen anything like it.
DOCTOR
I have to say that even after all this, I'm actually quite happy that you got to see a bit of the tardis. This ship is more than just a spacecraft, she's alive.
SKYLER
So is it still any chance you could teach us how to fly the Tardis?
DOCTOR
Maybe a bit of practicing won’t be too bad, I'll give it a while before you start to do a bit of driving. Personally, I think I like to have a nice vanilla latte to help refresh myself after all that we've been through today
KREIG
Be careful you don't spill it, Doctor.
DOCTOR
You know me, Kreig I wouldn't do that either way.
[The crew starts to Chuckle altogether after Kreig's funny joke, yet little do they know soon enough that The Tardis may take them to a place that defies logic throughout the universe.]
