European Workshop on

Algorithmic Fairness

(EWAF'22)

Zurich, Switzerland

Thanks

Thanks to all 48 researchers for joining EWAF'22 and making this an event full of interesting discussions!

A 2-day workshop that brings together European researchers working on algorithmic fairness

Algorithmic fairness is a rapidly growing research area, and the importance of this field is only going to increase over the next years. The discussion predominantly involves US-based researchers, but more and more researchers in Europe are getting active in this domain.

The goal of this workshop is to foster the dialogue between European researchers working on algorithmic fairness in the context of the legal and societal framework of Europe, especially in light of the EU’s attempts to promote ethical AI.

If the pandemic situation allows, the workshop will take place in person in Switzerland. With Zurich being located at the heart of Europe, we hope that we can provide a location that can bring researchers from across Europe together.
