No. Without the storage permission, every time you refresh the page or restart your browser, your customized settings would reset to default.
B. Host Permissions: "https://evoworld.io/*" and "https://flyordie.io/*"
• Why it is needed:
EvoWorld.io (formerly known as FlyOrDie.io) is the specific web game this extension is built for. In order to render canvas modifications (such as food spawn countdowns, player outlines, camera zoom scaling, and radar proximity warnings), the extension content script must be injected into the game's webpage.
• What it does NOT do:
We do NOT request broad permissions like "<all_urls>", "http://*/*", or "https://*/*". The extension is strictly restricted to only run on the official EvoWorld.io and legacy FlyOrDie.io domains. It cannot view, access, or alter any other websites you visit.
• Can it be omitted?
No. A content script cannot interact with the game canvas or game state without host permission for that specific domain.
C. Permissions We Explicitly DO NOT Request:
