Eve carefully reads your partial or complete manuscript
and provides in-depth analysis in three ways:
Using the Comments function in Google Docs, Eve will craft insightful questions and suggestions to enhance your strengths and prompt creative solutions to your challenges.
Eve will write an editorial letter as a chapter-by-chapter analysis of characters, plot, and tone that will assist in the development of a cohesive and impactful narrative.
Eve will discuss the manuscript in two 30-minute video calls at the middle and end of the project to answer any questions and support your creative process as an author.
Process
Email Eve at evesedits123@gmail.com with the details of your project, including the word count, genre, and if you have a set timeline for Eve's completion of the edits. Include in the subject line "editing."
Eve will contact you to discuss the project and which services suit your needs. Once the details are decided, Eve will create a contract for the project that you both will sign.
Send Eve payment for the project and an invitation to collaborate on your manuscript using Google Docs. For larger projects, the payment and work will be divided into two installments. The first installment will be paid once the contract is signed. The second installment will be paid after the first half of the project is completed (before Eve begins work on the second half of the manuscript).
Eve will make all edits using the "Suggesting" Mode in Google Docs within the agreed-upon time frame.
