Evernote Classic Download BEST

Hi, I'm still on evernote classic because of one single feature: the quicknote drop down menu notes are saved with the first line as title of note. The new versions name the note solely as a date, which over time makes it impossible to know what the note is about (who knows what I wrote about just by reading a title such as "01-10-2010")

Evernote clearly says this is not at all in their priorities in the near future to bring back this feature or give this option (date or first line as title of quick menu note, which seems very simple to bring back?) so I guess I'm alone in this, so I need to start exploring other software before evernote classic fails, would anyone have a recommendation for a Note taking app that does offer this feature instead of evernote?

After testing a lot of other alternatives I learned: from all those apps which told you "we can replace Evernote" it is the application which has the potential to grow, but it is limited in usage und functions compared to evernote.

I have to say I find Joplin much better than evernote mostly because I can see under the hood with the Markup and not get tangled up in format changes that dont make sense especially cause I swap from Linux to Android to Windows during the day

The first Joplin installer I have (I keep all installers) is "Joplin-Setup-1.0.103" dated 2018-06-26. I may have looked at it back then but I don't think I could have been using it that long. I have about 70 Joplin install packages since then but I didn't try to close the Nevernote account until late last year I think it was.

What you are speaking of is evernote like tree structure right? Evernote like view is a separate feature request, which is created by me and it is an option. If people like that view it would get upvote if not then let that be. Devs focus is on community if enough people think they would like to have, devs will consider them.

Comparing image 2 and 3, you see the info that is revealed by a evernote is more that notion. Eg:

If you compare craft home screen and Anytype home screen. I would say craft is better in displaying the notes with the content.

Similarly evernote shows more content than Notion

Notion is good. Evernote is good. I hope we have both of these option in Anytype. We can use Notion view for one workspace(spaces) and evernote for another. And being refer things from other workspaces would like 1+1=3.

Have you heard of the lindy effect? We can expect evernote be here for another 16+years. However it depends on how they make their software and management. There is no currently, mature note taking app with a sustainable business model.

But things like DAO and crypto are changing some fundamental things. Anytype should be mainstream note taking app. This will be a good choice.
