“Cultivators of the Unknown”

Evergarden: Ancient Oasis envisions an immersive, interactive environment centered around the worshiped remains of a mystical tree within a lost temple. Inspired by dark fantasy and ancient civilizations, the space will blend organic elements with ancient ruins and hidden messages.

Subtle references to the underworld and the fusion of ancient wisdom with futuristic, tech-infused magic will create a unique atmosphere.

Visitors will be transported into a world reminiscent of the mystical shrines from 'The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild,' evoking a profound sense of mystery, exploration, and awe.

This space invites participants to share and discover stories through art, interaction, and communal experience

Community Involvement with our Art

Our art offers a fully immersive, interactive experience, where each node invites visitors to step into the role of explorers navigating a mystical world. Set within a lost temple and surrounded by elements of ancient and magic-infused technology, participants are encouraged to engage deeply with the narrative of uncovering forgotten realms.

By interacting with these environments, visitors become part of the adventure, seamlessly blending with our camp's theme of mystery and discovery. Our creations align with this year’s Love Burn theme - Realms of the Underworld - offering a perfect space for those looking to play in character and embark on an introspective journey through art and storytelling.

Camp Intentions for Participants

Highlighting interactivity – We aim to get people involved, whether it’s our campers before and during the event, or engaging Love Burn participants to explore and interact with the space.
Participants left feeling like they were given something – We want participants to leave with more than just memories: an experience, inspiration, a meaningful connection, or perhaps a gift or token from the camp.
Participants left feeling like they were able to give something – Evergardeners are cultivators, ready and eager to share our art and engage with visitors. In return, we appreciate the gift of participation from those who visit Evergarden.
What can participants take away that feels introspective? – This is the thread we’ve woven through our entire camp over the years. From the overall design to individual spaces, each experience encourages participants to reflect and discover something within themselves.
How can you leave your impression? – We inspire our campers and visitors to think about the impact they leave behind, encouraging immediacy and engagement in their interactions, both within Evergarden and throughout Love Burn.

Who are the Evergardeners?

Evergarden is a variegated botanical-grade art village of creators specializing in installations and interactive immersive experiences, and whose collective headquarters are currently rooted in St Petersburg, FL.

This is the FIFTH year that our long-running core group is returning to Love Burn together, 90% of which live in St Pete.

The proximity of our campers to each other will greatly influence our ability to bring this build to life as we will be able to share resources, workspaces and transport, as well as do additional collective fundraising for the myriad of projects that make up Evergarden.

The core cultivators of Evergarden have continued to expand our collective vision by encouraging and mobilizing more of our core members, as well as opening up to welcome new members from our home community of artists in St Pete. Together we will co-create on our camp’s core projects, as well as provide a home to multiple Evergardeners bringing their own fully fledged art grant installations.

The effervescence of the collective creative process has reached an exciting boiling point for all of us and Love Burn is the canvas we are all so excited to contribute to the Realms of the Underworld this year.

This year the Evergarden has proliferated, and its evolution is reshaping what is known about time, space and physics. Armed with cutting-edge technology and esoteric knowledge, we Cultivators are diving into the portal. We invite fellow curious minds to join in our research and discover the unknown within ourselves.

Embark on a mystical journey with the Evergardeners in a place where art, technology, and nature converge. Wander beneath the Laboratory's alien floral canopy and coruscating cloud organisms, step up to observe the transformation of the Evergarden tree and marvel at its new form as an Infinity Portal of mirrored depths. Peek at untold mysteries and change frequencies at the Console Station, and immerse yourself in the majestic comfort of the Eluvium Cove's luminous garden.

Discover hidden stories in Diorama Lockers, tune the enchantment with the UV Spiral Pintographs, and contribute to the ever-evolving narrative of Evergarden by providing your own Psychic Imprint with our Camera Samskara. Evergarden is an enchanting tapestry of experiences, inviting you to explore, engage, and be transformed by its magical realms.
