If you want a rugged, long-reach ratchet strap built for heavy commercial hauling and moving massive appliances, choose Everest; if you need a set of protective soft loops designed to secure motorcycles and ATVs without scratching your paint or handlebars, choose Rhino USA Soft Loop Tie. These two products sit at opposite ends of the securing spectrum, solving completely different problems for RV owners and outdoor enthusiasts who need reliable gear but often confuse general cargo straps with vehicle-specific mounting aids.
• Rhino USA Soft Loop Tie offers a 4-pack of gentle, scratch-free anchors that protect chrome and paint while simplifying setup on tight spaces like motorcycle bars.
• Choose Everest if you are moving furniture, loading flatbeds, or need a single strap to span wide gaps between truck beds and trailers.
• Choose Rhino USA if you are an RV owner needing to secure dirt bikes, ATVs, or motorcycles inside a storage bay where every inch counts and surface protection is critical.
The Everest S1022 Premium Ratchet Tie Down is engineered for the heavy lifter. When you look at the specifications, this isn't a subtle accessory; it is a piece of industrial-grade equipment designed for commercial experts who need to move large appliances and equipment safely. The standout feature here is the sheer reach. At 27 feet long, it solves the problem of spanning significant distances that standard 15-foot straps simply cannot cover. Whether you are strapping down a generator in the back of a pickup bed to a trailer hitch further up, or securing a load across a wide flatbed, that extra length provides necessary tension leverage without requiring multiple connection points.
The construction focuses on durability and user safety during high-tension scenarios. The ratchet mechanism is specifically designed to reduce stress on the user's fingers, which is a practical detail for anyone who has ever wrestled with a stiff ratchet handle under pressure. The hardware includes a double J-hook made from durable metal, ensuring it fits into various anchor points found on trucks and trailers. Furthermore, the webbing features a side protector and extra black stitching, explicitly intended to provide ultimate protection against abrasion. This suggests the strap is built to withstand the friction of rough edges on cargo or trailer frames without fraying prematurely.
However, this product is not for everyone. If you are looking for something to wrap around a motorcycle handlebar or a delicate RV frame, this is the wrong tool. It is a singular unit, sold as one pack, which means you get one long solution rather than a set of smaller, versatile anchors. It is best suited for those who need to haul heavy, bulky items where the primary concern is holding power and reach, not surface preservation.

The Rhino USA Soft Loop Tie Down Straps take a fundamentally different approach to securing loads. Instead of a long, rigid strap with a ratchet, this product provides four individual soft loops that act as protective anchors. The design philosophy here centers on protecting the vehicle itself. If you own a motorcycle, ATV, or UTV, you know that metal hooks can easily gouge chrome handlebars, scratch fairings, or dent plastic components. These soft loops eliminate that risk entirely by threading through an anchor point or handlebar, creating a soft interface between your tie-downs and your vehicle.
The dimensions are precise for this specific application: each loop is 1.6 inches wide and 17 inches long. This size is optimized for wrapping around standard motorcycle handlebars or attaching to specific mounts on ATVs without slipping off or causing excessive bulk. While they do not have a ratchet built-in, they are designed to be used in conjunction with standard ratchet straps, effectively turning any handlebar into a secure anchor point. The material is crafted from high-strength polyester, ensuring they can withstand the rigors of transport and heavy loads despite their flexible nature.
This product is clearly aimed at riders and RVers who prioritize convenience and vehicle care. The "Quick & Easy to Use" description highlights the ability to thread them through an anchor point and attach tie-downs immediately, saving time on setup. For an RV owner, this is invaluable when parking a dirt bike in the garage or securing a motorcycle on a lift system. The fact that they come in a 4-pack means you can secure all four wheels of a quad bike or use two for a bike and keep spares. Unlike the Everest, which is a single heavy-duty tool, these are a set of specialized organizers that make your existing ratchets safer and more effective for delicate machinery.
• Best for vehicle surface protection: Rhino USA is the only choice here; its soft loop design guarantees no scratches to paint or chrome, whereas Everest's metal hooks will likely damage delicate finishes.
• Best for motorcycle/ATV security: Rhino USA provides the specific geometry needed to wrap around handlebars and forks securely without damaging the bike's controls or bodywork.
• Best for commercial or DIY moving: Everest is built for moving appliances and equipment, offering the durability and length required for job sites and long-distance hauling.
• Best for quick setup efficiency: Rhino USA allows for faster installation on bikes since you just thread the loop, whereas Everest requires threading the ratchet and managing a long, unwieldy strap.
• Best value for multi-bike setups: Rhino USA comes in a 4-pack, giving you immediate coverage for multiple wheels or vehicles, while Everest is sold as a single unit.
• Best for abrasion resistance on cargo: Everest features side protectors and extra stitching designed to resist wear from rough cargo edges, a feature not present in the soft loops.
• Best for RV owners securing internal loads: Rhino USA is superior for storing bikes inside an RV or on a rack where space is tight and paint preservation matters most.
I recommend the Rhino USA Soft Loop Tie for the vast majority of RV owners who need to transport recreational vehicles. While the Everest is an impressive piece of hardware for hauling lumber or appliances, it lacks the finesse required for securing motorcycles and ATVs. The Rhino USA product solves the specific pain point of protecting expensive chrome and paint while offering a convenient 4-pack solution that fits perfectly into the compact needs of an RV garage or lift. In my opinion, the ability to secure a bike without worrying about scratching the handlebars makes it the smarter investment for recreational use.
No, the Everest strap features metal double J-hooks and is designed for commercial cargo; using it directly on a handlebar would likely cause severe scratches or structural damage to the bike.
The Rhino USA Soft Loop Tie is a set of four loops only; you must already own or purchase separate ratchet straps to attach to these loops for securing your load.
The Everest strap is a single 27-foot unit designed for long spans, while the Rhino USA loops are shorter at 17 inches each, designed specifically to wrap around small anchor points like handlebars.
