Welcome to my new web page. With the help of family & friends, I have been blessed to host events for the past 13 years. I started out at the Knights of Columbus building with 15-20 vendors to where we are today. I will always put Jesus as the head of my life and my events. Kenya Missions will set up as our first non profit of choice at our events when they are able to. We also choose to donate to other non-profits throughout the years as well. We have taken up groceries & money for food baskets, baby items for Life Choices, donations & door prizes for the Senior Center & more.
I like to look at these events as building community. Small businesses helping one another. You may start out as strangers- but you leave as friends - some may become as close as family.
Some lessons that I try to share with others is always be kind to one another. You never know what the person next to you is going thru. - A smile can go a long way. Bring business cards or some way for people to contact you back. Sometimes you will have lookers- but they will find you at your next event or call you with an order after they leave. Ive been that person to call back.
Hang in there- dont get discouraged! Dont base one year sales on the next. Try a couple before you throw in the towel. Different events/ venues- you may do better at also.
I always encourage questions- talk to your customers as well. share on your social media & webpages where you will be. Have fun in what you are doing. Remember the WHY you are doing this.
Last but not least by a long shot- thank you for being a part of the journey! If your new- welcome!
