Information Collection and Use

EventHub stores the following data locally on your device:

- Event names and dates you create

- Reminder times you set

- Settings preferences

- Contact information linked to events (with your permission)

We do NOT:

- Collect any personal information

- Send data to external servers

- Track your usage

- Share your data with third parties

- Display advertisements

- Require user accounts

All data remains on your device only.

Permissions

EventHub requests the following permissions:

Contacts (Optional)

- Purpose: To link events to your contacts

- Usage: Access contact names, photos, and phone numbers to associate with events

- Control: You can choose not to grant this permission and manually enter contact information

Notifications (Required)

- Purpose: To send event reminders

- Usage: Display notifications at scheduled reminder times

- Control: You can manage notification settings in Android system settings

Storage (Optional)

- Purpose: To backup and restore your events

- Usage: Read/write backup files in JSON format

- Control: Only used when you explicitly choose to backup or restore data

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using Android's Room Database. EventHub does not use cloud storage or external servers.

You can export your data at any time from Settings → Backup & Restore.

Data Security

- All data is stored securely on your device

- No data is transmitted over the internet

- No analytics or tracking services are used

- No third-party services have access to your data

Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time by:

- Deleting individual events in the app

- Clearing app data in Android system settings

- Uninstalling the app

Children's Privacy

EventHub does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not collect any personal information from any users.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new privacy policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
