2025 Club Championship Recap
The 2025 Moon Lake Golf & Country Club Club Championship concluded over two competitive days, showcasing the depth and dedication of its members across multiple divisions. Played on the Highlands and Moors courses on Day One, followed by Highlands to Heather on Day Two, the event delivered tight finishes.
With players teeing off from the Gold Tees, the Men’s Division saw fierce competition across both flights. The top three in the 1st Flight finished tied at 151 (+7), prompting a sudden-death playoff that was won by Luc Marleau (2 Time Winner), who secured the title with a clutch par on the first extra hole. He earned a $100 Moon Lake Gift Card and Valuables Pouch.
Drew Holman and Scott Ulven shared second place at 151 (+7), each receiving a $35 gift card. Notably, Cody Ross, competing as a junior but playing in the men’s division, shot a solid 152 (+8) to claim the Junior Champion title—just one stroke shy of joining the playoff.
In the 2nd Flight, Aiden Arnold emerged victorious with a total of 167 (+23), earning a $100 Moon Lake Gift Card. Teagan Koehler (172, +28) and Isaac Hein (173, +29) rounded out the podium.

Jim Duffus, 2025 SR. Men's Champion.
Teeing off from the Blue Tees, Jim Duffus claimed his fourth Sr. Men’s title in the past eight years with a consistent 150 (+6), capturing a $100 Moon Lake Gift Card and Valuables Pouch. His steady play over two rounds reaffirmed his status as one of the club’s most consistent performers in the division. Dean Haga (162, +18) and Neal Gieni (163, +19) finished second and third, respectively.
Kiara Stecko, playing from the Blue Tees, posted a 173 (+29) over the two rounds to claim the Women’s Championship. She received a $100 Moon Lake Gift Card and Valuables Pouch.

Marg Holtsman, 2025 SR. Women's Champion
Marg Holtzman captured the Senior Women’s title with a 199 (+55), securing a $100 Moon Lake Gift Card and Valuables Pouch. Donna Da Silva (202, +58) finished third, earning a $50 gift card.
Cody Ross made a notable impression in the Men’s Division, finishing only 1 shot back from the top 3 in the 1st Flight and winning the Junior Championship with a 152 (+8). Congratulations!

The club extends its thanks to all participants, and staff who contributed to the success of this year’s Club Championship. We rounded out at 35 players, an increase from last year, and hope to continue growing it into next year's event.
Special appreciation goes to the grounds crew for maintaining outstanding course conditions across both days, and to the tournament organizers as well as Food and Beverage Staff for making it another successful weekend.
