Please read the following page for a brief overview of my work history.
I started as the library media specialist at Padua Academy in August of 2016. I serve as the manager of the Learning Commons, which serves over 600 students and and approximately 70 faculty members. My daily tasks may include teaching a lesson on MLA or APA style, re-shelving books, purchasing the best new titles, working with teachers to create lessons, helping a student find scholarly sources for her paper, planning an event--the list goes on! Every day at Padua brings new and interesting challenges. For more information about my position at Padua Academy, please look under the Work Experience tab.
From May 2013 to September 2015, I worked as a quality assurance proofreader at Foundry9, a LiquidHub company. The Foundry9 branch of LiquidHub is a full-service marketing/advertising agency with locations in Wilmington, DE, New York, NY, and Los Angeles, CA. It was my responsibility to proofread landing pages, promotional materials, presentations, or any other products delivered to the client. With prestigious banks such as Chase as the main client base, it was essential that we delivered error-free copy that met the rigorous standards expected by leaders in the financial industry. My primary job function was to ensure this occurred on a daily basis. To learn more about my position at Foundry9, please look under the Work Experience tab.
In early 2013 I served as the marketing director at American Home Energy Corporation (AHEC) in Elkton, MD. AHEC, along with partner company American Energy Corporation (AEC), provides residential and commercial energy audits to customers in the Maryland Pepco and Delmarva Power territories. As the marketing director, it was my responsibility to get the word out about AHEC's services. I actively managed all facets of AHEC's marketing including social media, print, online, mail, local events, and trade shows.
