If you want a durable, high-fidelity adapter with a built-in DAC for lossless audio and fast charging while flying, choose Eusbote Type C; if you need a simple, lightweight solution for basic audio playback and charging on newer iPhones or Samsungs, choose Meliya USB C.
• Eusbote Type C: Its biggest strength is the premium build quality featuring an aluminum alloy shell, nylon-braided cable, and a dedicated 24-bit/96kHz DAC chip for superior sound. The trade-off is that it is designed strictly for Android and Pixel devices, offering no compatibility with Apple's Lightning-to-USB-C ecosystem in the way some might expect. This pick is for audiophiles and travelers who prioritize sound clarity and durability over generic simplicity.
• Meliya USB C: Its biggest strength is its broad cross-platform compatibility, explicitly listing support for iPhone 17, 16, and 15 series alongside Samsung Galaxy models, making it a versatile universal tool. The trade-off is a lack of detailed specification regarding audio processing chips or premium materials, suggesting a more standard, functional design without advanced noise-cancellation features. This pick is for general users who need a reliable "plug-and-play" dongle for mixed device fleets.
The Eusbote Type C adapter is engineered specifically for the user who refuses to compromise on audio fidelity while traveling. When you are on a long-haul flight, trying to listen to music through a volume-limiting bluetooth headset or standard earphones for flights, the difference in signal processing becomes apparent. This adapter integrates a high-quality DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter) chip capable of 24-bit/96kHz stereo quality. In practical terms, this means the audio signal remains stable and lossless as it travels from your phone to your wired headphones. There is no current noise, buzzing, or static interference, which is a common frustration when using lower-quality adapters on budget flights where background hum is already a problem.
Durability is another critical factor for anyone packing this into a carry-on bag. The Eusbote unit is constructed with a premium aluminum alloy shell connector and a nylon-braided cable. This isn't just about looking sleek; it is about surviving the rigors of travel. The compact 18cm length makes it easy to carry without tangling, but the material choice ensures it won't snap after a few weeks of being stuffed into a pocket next to keys. For those seeking comfortable headband headphones for flights, pairing them with this adapter ensures the connection point is robust enough to handle the constant plugging and unplugging required during a journey.
You should buy this if you own a Google Pixel (including the 10 Pro, 9a, 9 Pro, and 8a) or a Samsung Galaxy device (ranging from the S25 Ultra down to the A-series). However, you should skip this product if you are an iPhone user relying on iOS 17 or 16 devices, as the specifications focus heavily on Android and Pixel integration. While it supports PD 60W fast charging via a PD wall charger to ensure your battery doesn't die mid-flight, it does not support data transfer. If your primary goal is simply to charge and listen without worrying about complex driver installations, this is a solid, albeit platform-specific, choice.

The Meliya USB C adapter takes a different approach, prioritizing versatility and immediate functionality across a wider range of smartphones. If you find yourself juggling multiple devices—perhaps switching between a work laptop, an older Samsung, and a new iPhone—the Meliya option stands out because it explicitly lists compatibility with the iPhone 17, 16, and 15 series, alongside the Samsung Galaxy S25 and S22 lines. This makes it an excellent candidate for travelers who do not want to pack multiple adapters for different phones. The "2 in 1" design splits your USB-C port into a PD-compatible charging port and a 3.5mm audio jack, allowing you to keep listening to music or watch videos while simultaneously fast-charging your device.
For the frequent flyer, the simplicity of the Meliya design is appealing. It offers a straightforward solution for earphones for flights without the added complexity of managing specific DAC settings or worrying about brand-specific firmware issues. The unit comes with a three-month warranty description, indicating a baseline level of manufacturer confidence in the product's reliability. It is a plug-and-play device that requires no drivers or apps, fitting seamlessly into a traveler's routine where ease of use is paramount. The design focuses on the core utility: getting audio out of your phone and power into your battery without interruption.
This product is ideal for users who need a reliable backup dongle that works across both major mobile ecosystems without needing to check specific model numbers like the Pixel 10 or Samsung S23 FE. If you are looking for a straightforward companion for your daily commute or a short business trip, the Meliya adapter delivers the essential functions of audio playback and 60W PD fast charging. However, it lacks the detailed mention of advanced audio chips or premium braiding found in the Eusbote sheet. If you are a casual listener who uses standard earbuds and just needs to get the job done, the Meliya USB C provides a no-frills, effective path to enjoying your media on the go.

• Best for Android Users → Eusbote Type C: Specifically optimized for the extensive list of Samsung and Google Pixel models mentioned in its data sheet, offering a tailored experience for these ecosystems.
After weighing the specifications and real-world travel needs, I would choose the Eusbote Type C for my own setup. The inclusion of the high-quality DAC chip and the robust aluminum construction addresses the two most painful aspects of using adapters on planes: poor sound quality and fragile cables that break easily. While the Meliya is a competent all-rounder, the Eusbote's commitment to lossless audio transmission and physical durability makes it the superior investment for someone who spends significant time in transit. It transforms a standard 3.5mm headphone into a true Hi-Fi experience, which is exactly what I need when I am trying to block out engine noise on a long flight.
Only the Meliya USB C adapter explicitly lists compatibility with iPhone 17, 16, and 15 models. The Eusbote Type C is focused on Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel devices and does not mention Apple iPhone support in its specifications.
Yes, both the Eusbote and Meliya adapters feature a "2 in 1" design that splits your USB-C port into a PD-compatible charging port and a 3.5mm audio jack, allowing simultaneous fast charging and audio playback.
The Eusbote Type C appears to have superior build quality, featuring a premium aluminum alloy shell and a nylon-braided cable designed for maximum durability, whereas the Meliya sheet does not specify these premium materials.
No, neither adapter supports data transfer. They are designed strictly for audio output and power delivery (charging), so you cannot use them to move files between your phone and a computer.
