Eurosport Player Download Lg Smart Tv ##BEST##

Some days back the eurosport player stopped working on my ue55ks8005 with software t-jzmdeuc-1241.5, bt-s. Now when i open the app it tells me that i should download the newest version of the app but when looking for that in apps there is no newer version. It seems to have happened after the last software update. What to do?

I was interest to see if eurosport player would work in the LG WebOS browser, it doesn't on WebOS 3 and looks like it doesn't on more recent TVs either. Eurosport player website requires chrome 56 or above and WebOS 4, latest version, is running chrome 53. If LG where to update the browser version they deploy with WebOS then we'd get support for eurosport player. My TV is running a browser released in 2014, 2 years older than than my telly. Chrome 53 release in Aug 2016 and LG using it in 2018. Chrome 56 release in Jan 2017 so maybe see it next release of webOS after 2019/2020? But eurosport player could change there requirements, need a newer browser version by then.

basically that, was fine last week but now from tuesday the picture stutters on and off, goes fine for a few secs then its off again in spurts and juddering, sounds fine though just the picture, anyone else had any issues this week or is it the ever weak and under powered cpu on this tv finally being pushed out of being usable when streaming services update they apps, or is it eurosport itself as netflix hdr content works fine. and yes its a wired connection, with plenty of bandwidth 70 meg down.

not done that will try a reset later, but i have had word back from eurosport support on twitter and the tv is not officially supported !? they gave me a link to supported devices and well its rather strange as the ONLY tv's official supported at the moment are Samsung TV with Tizen OS only 3.0+.

Yeah tried clearing cache and it improves it a bit but still jumps skips and runs poorly. had a few more messages from eurosport support and they confirmed all streams are now 1080p50. which could be the issue i guess with my specific model. although it should be able to do it if it can do 4khdr no problem so probably a mixture of eurosports app being poorly optimised (lazy) and the weak cpu in the set just not powerful enough to brute force it.

Eurosport are doing a Black Friday deal, 20 for Eurosport player for a year. Would getting ES player get me better access to the cycling? Can you pick the stream or is it Eurosport 1 & 2 but on an App?

I have GCN race pass, I also have chromecast. It casts perfectly to my smart tv from the GCN app on my phone using the chromecast device. You can also mirror your phone screen to a smart tv using the smart view feature on your phone (chromecast not required). Guess it depends on what tv/phone/laptop set up u have.

I have a paid up annual subscription with Eurosport and have been watching (with no problems) cycle racing via the Eurosport Player webpage, (on the Chrome browser on my Z8 pro) but from January 2023, Eurosport are closing down the webplayer, and then you can only continue to watch via their app, so I do need to get this to work on my Z8pro box!?

I tried a few years ago with no success. Eurosport player did NOT support Linux machines. Lately I've heard different stories (they're using HTML5 for example, which should be OK with Linux). I don't want to sign up again (my free month is gone I believe), but I'd still love to see some snooker.Anyone who knows? I don't want to install Wine for this either, never had any success with it.
