Why we chose this topic

We chose the Eureka Rebellion as it's a perfect example of a change of power in history. We also chose it because it was recognised as the birthplace of Australia's democracy which we found interesting. By researching the Eureka Rebellion, we saw the miners powers go up as the battle came and gone.
