Eunhee Choi is Professor of Sociology at Bukkyo University in Kyoto, Japan.
Her research explores media, memory, and war in East Asia, with particular attention to the cultural and political dynamics of the post-nuclear era.
She examines how historical experiences and collective memories are constructed and mediated through cultural forms such as film, literature, and museums from a historical-sociological perspective.

メディア研究・社会学を基盤に、戦争の記憶、ポスト核社会、メディア表象、ジャーナリズム、メディアリテラシーを研究している。日本・韓国を中心とする東アジア社会を対象に、メディアが歴史認識や社会的記憶の形成に果たす役割を、歴史社会学的および文化社会学的視点から考察している。
