Biography

Namkung, Eun Ha, Ph.D., MSW

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Social Welfare at Ewha Womans University. My research interests include the health and well-being of older and disabled adults, as well as health equity for such population groups. My research has been supported by national and international institutions such as the Health Resources and Services Administration (USA), National Association of Social Workers Foundation (USA), and Ministry of Health and Welfare (Korea). My work has been published in multiple international peer-reviewed journals, including Social Science & Medicine and The Gerontologist. I also serve as an editor of the Social Work Practice & Research (KCI indexed journal) and an editorial board member of the Disability and Health Journal (SSCI journal)

남궁은하 교수는 현재 이화여자대학교 사회복지학과 조교수로 재직 중이다. 주요 연구분야는 고령자 및 장애인의 건강과 웰빙, 건강형평성, 가족돌봄을 포함한다. 그 동안 미국 보건자원및서비스행정국(HRSA), 미국사회복지사협회(NASW) 재단, 한국 보건복지부 등으로부터 연구비 지원을 받았으며, 주요 연구결과는 Social Science & Medicine, The Gerontologist, Journal of Health and Social Behaviors 등 국내외 유수 학술지를 통해 출판되었다. KCI 등재지인 사회복지실천과연구의 공동 편집위원장을 맡고있으며, SSCI 저널 Disability and Health Journal (DHJO)의 유일한 비서구권 편집위원을 역임하는 등, 국내외 보건복지관련 학술 연구 활동 역시 활발하게 참여하고 있다.
