Our proposal is very significant for the township of Eumundi 

This proposal will keep people visiting our town

An email, letter or phone call to local Division 10 Councillor David Law (as well as the Mayor, CEO and other Councillors) letting them know briefly why you are in support of our application should only take a few minutes.

Some ideas for why the location is best suited for a supermarket include:  

• Centrally located - keeps goods and services in our town  

• Viability - supports the continued flow of people through our main street  

• Upgrades - enables the community to receive a significant upgrade to the Caplick Way/Napier Rd intersection and footpaths  

• Carparking - provides much needed car parking in the town centre  

• Convenient - located in walking distance to a large number of residences  

• Close - is nearby to the school and public transport and town centre services

• Less driving - encourages walking and cycling activities rather than using a car to drive for daily goods and services  

• Design - has good design principles such as acoustic walls and landscape buffering to reduce impacts on surrounding neighbours  

• Enhances our town - doesn’t visually impact the main street and therefore we keep our small rural village look and feel  

• Perfect size - is 1500m2 in size so not to small not too big  

• Balance - a great opportunity for the top end of town to finally be developed!
