EUI-STIX Meeting 2024

General information & Objectives

The STIX team organizes a series of "in-person" meetings aimed at discussing the new observations obtained by STIX, together with other instruments onboard Solar Orbiter, Parker Solar Probe, SDO, STEREO as well as ground-based instrumentation. This is also the place to discuss the present state of the instrument. 

The fourth meeting (October 22-24 2024) will be hosted jointly by the STIX and EUI instrument teams.

This meeting brings together scientists involved in the scientific analysis of STIX data with a particular focus on complementary observations from EUI onboard Solar Orbiter. Results and current data analysis from Solar Orbiter's Spring 2024 Flare Campaign will be highlighted. 

The meeting is open to all members of the Solar Orbiter community.

While it is planned to have a link to allow remote participation of a few participants, we strongly favour in-person participation.

The meeting will take place at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Brugg/Windisch, Switzerland.

Brugg/Windisch is accessible by train from Zurich, Basel, and Bern. The FHNW campus is located just next to the Brugg (AG) train station.  There are hourly direct trains from the Zurich airport to Brugg. The map above shows the locaton of the train station, the FHNW campus, and the meeting site.
