Can someone explain how I got an order yesterday and then after fees I have $28.33 in my running total. Then today I get another order, and I understand that the money isn't available till tomorrow, but at the top it's saying that I only have $15.29 available for deposit. How do they calculate this? I don't think I'll get a deposit anyway but I've been looking over all the numbers and nowhere do I have $15.29 in my running total.

You money is not "available for deposit" until the next day after the sale. So even tho you made a sale "today" that money will not show in the available for deposit until tomorrow. HOWEVER--all fees for today's sale come out of the available for deposit amount. That is why that number goes down. If you scroll down a bit on you payment account page on the left hand side it will show the total amount you have under "current balance"--even tho it is not yet available to you.

I get that about the fees, I'm seeing the amount go down in my balance on my payment page as each fee has been deducted. I have $145.44 as a final balance AFTER fees have been deducted, although not all those funds are not available.

I think I've gone stupid over this. I'm generally pretty good at math. Maybe it's that I went on vacation mode for almost a month and got rusty about the way things work and don't remember this feature. Maybe it's that my trust in etsy is at an all time low given their shenanigans regarding knee jerk refunds of late. I'm watching my money like a hawk!

It's one of the reasons that busy shops on reserve often get nothing back if they don't use tracking Etsy can read. Say they have $50 available for deposit at midnight Etsy time, then make multiple sales between then and the time Etsy actually initiates deposits - the new fees can eat up all of the $50.

The amount of your current balance that can be deposited. Funds from your Etsy Payments orders will be available for deposit 3 business days after a sale, subject to any reserves, holds, or delays.

In this situation should I not have R301.72 available for deposit? Over the last month these numbers have varied, and I understand that it will if sales go down and I'm still paying for ads then my total will be less but despite the fact that my current balance is in the positive I have never received a deposit. My sales have been really high this month and I'm seeing how its dwindling everyday as its being used as payments for ads.

I completely understand! I'm in the same situation. I'm not on a reserve, I've been selling for 8 months, only 5 star reviews, never late or missed an order, star seller, bank verified, payment card verified and ID verified. Never had a problem before. June 29th was my last deposit (I get weekly deposits). My available deposit says $0.00 yet my balance is almost $900. Daily I watch that amount go down due to fees. I've contacted Etsy support numerous times. They are NO help. I've never been told why they are holding my payment. I'm always told I will be contacted by email. I keep getting the same two basic automatic responses. I've yet to hear anything from etsy. I'm so frustrated with the lack of communication! I just want to be paid for my hard work.

I stupidly used Etsy global shipping two months ago to ship an item. The buyer reached out to me almost a month later and said her item hadn't even left the US yet. I reached out to etsy and they just told me to wait. Eventually on July 16th, it arrived in the netherlands.

Then it says "available at pick-up point" for the last ten days. Buyer cannot figure out where to pickup item. She called her local post office and they told her to wait for a notification to come get it. I contacted Etsy asking what to do, they told me to have her reach out to them.

What the actual f**k? what more can I do here? I don't speak dutch, I can't call the post office myself. The buyer doesn't know where to pick it up or how. I don't know how dutch postage works. The item is in her country, and etsy told her to ding me basically? That's how they help?

I wanted to open an etsy shop to sell digital art (so there's no shipping involved whatsoever). I'm new to this so I've just seen that my country is not listed in "shop country" at the beginning of setting up my store. Is there a way to get past this? I'm from Europe, I have access to PayPal and Payoneer and other payment platforms. Is it possible to make an Etsy store anyway or should I just not bother?

Set the pricing for your product under the Inventory and Pricing section. Enter the amount someone will pay for the item, how many items you have available, and the SKU (if you use them). You can also add variations, such as different sizes or colors.

With that many sellers, Etsy's breadth of products is incredible. As of Q2, the platform had over 115 million listings. In other words, there's plenty of stuff here and its list of available items is growing.

Great news! I used to run an incredible art business program known as the Positive Painters. However, I decided to embark on a new adventure that focused more on my art and the joy I find in creating it and have dissolved the program. So, if you happen to come across any mention of it in the video, please feel free to disregard that information, as those templates are no longer available.

Etsy is popular as a side-business,[15] as well as a place to buy goods made from recycled and upcycled materials,[16] along with less expensive or more unusual versions of mass-produced items.[17] The unique nature of many of the items for sale is part of their appeal to some shoppers.[18][19] Product photos on Etsy tend to be editorial or artistic instead of commercial catalog style.[20] Sellers can add 13 tags to their products to help buyers find them,[21] and buyers can choose to search for items available locally.[22] Etsy staffers publish lists of featured items.[23]

In April 2009, users organized an "etsyday" promotion on Twitter that brought extra attention to the site.[60] As of May 2009, it had approximately 60 employees and sales of $10 to 13 million per month,[61] possibly boosted by consumer interest in cheaper and more personalized goods due to the United States recession.[62]

In April 2012, a newspaper article about Etsy covered its fraud detection efforts;[68] Etsy had been criticized in the past for inconsistently applying its rules about items having to be handmade.[69] Later in April 2012, the writer of Regretsy, a popular blog, did independent research into a specific featured vendor, Ecologica Malibu, and found evidence to accuse the vendor of being a reseller, which would be against the Etsy Terms of Service.[70] The vendor asserted that it was in line with the Terms of Service, stating that the shop had simply failed to identify itself as a "collective" that included the work of several individuals, and many Etsy community members posted on the Etsy forum expressing unhappiness with the action (or lack of action) taken by Etsy.[71] As of June 2012, the vendor's account is no longer active on Etsy.[72] ff782bc1db
