Ethiopian Income Tax – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Ethio Lab ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information through the Ethiopian Income Tax mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Ethiopian Personal Data Protection Proclamation No. 1321/2024.
1. Information Collection and Use
We do not collect or store any "Sensitive Personal Data" as defined by Ethiopian law. We only process data necessary for the functionality of the app and for advertising purposes.
Advertising Data: We use AdMob (Google) to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use your Advertising ID (AAID for Android or IDFA for iOS) to show relevant ads. This is a non-permanent identifier that you can reset or opt-out of through your device's system settings.
Crash Reporting & Performance: We use automated tools to monitor app crashes. This data is technical (e.g., device model, OS version, stack traces) and does not contain personal identifiers. It is used solely to fix bugs and improve stability.
No Financial Data Storage: While this app calculates taxes, all calculations are performed locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your income, salary, or tax data to our servers.
2. Legal Basis for Processing (Ethiopia)
Under Proclamation No. 1321/2024, we process your data based on:
Consent: By using the app, you consent to the processing of advertising identifiers for the delivery of ads.
Legitimate Interest: To ensure the technical stability and security of the App.
3. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell or trade your information. We only share data with service providers who assist in our operations:

4. Your Data Rights
According to Ethiopian law, you have the following rights:
Right to Access: You may contact us to confirm what data is being processed.
Right to Erasure: You may request the deletion of your data (though we store very little).
Right to Withdraw Consent: You can stop all collection of information by uninstalling the App or adjusting your device's advertising settings.

We implement reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect against unauthorized access or loss. However, please remember that no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.
6. Government Affiliation Disclaimer
Ethio Lab is a private entity. This App is a utility tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representative of the Ethiopian Ministry of Revenues or any other government body.
