Privacy Policy for EtherLog
Last updated: 11 August 2026
EtherLog (“the App”) is a personal anaesthesia case logbook for clinicians. This policy explains how information is handled.
1. Data storage
Case data, profile details, and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your case logbook contents.
2. Information you may enter
You may enter professional details (e.g. name, designation, hospital) and clinical log fields (e.g. procedures, techniques). Do not enter patient names or other directly identifiable patient information. Use case or hospital numbers only.
3. Permissions
The App may request device permissions such as camera (case sheet photos), biometric/PIN lock, and file access for backup or export. These are used only to provide App features on your device.
4. Payments
If you purchase a subscription or plan, payment is processed by Google Play. We do not receive your full payment card details. Google’s privacy policy applies to payment processing.
5. Analytics and advertising
The App is not designed to show third-party ads. We do not sell your personal or case data.
6. Children’s privacy
The App is intended for qualified clinicians and professional use, not for children.
7. Your choices
You can export or delete data using in-App features (e.g. JSON backup, delete all cases). Uninstalling the App removes local App data from that device (subject to your device backups).
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
9. Contact
