Vision

To empower all English teachers enabling them to teach English effectively and interestingly

Mission

To empower all English practitioners in Bangladesh equally irrespective of their professional position/designation, ethnicity and social groups through the improvement of professional and leadership skills so that they can meet the needs of 21st century English education and achieve SDG 4

Objectives

To foster brotherhood and fraternity among the teachers of all levels (Primary, secondary, tertiary including general, technical and madrasah education)
To establish a professional network among the teachers of all levels
Decentralize leadership and practice shared leadership
Improve English language teaching and learning practices across the country
Ensure professional development and empowerment of all teachers irrespective of gender , race , faith and ethnicity
To help young and novice English and other teachers grow professionally
Ensure overall development of EL learners

Masum BillahPresident- ETAB and currently works as Country Director-VAB Bangaldesh, formerly taught in Ghatail Cantonment College, Sylhet Cadet College, Cumilla Cadet College, Mirzapur Cadet College, Rajuk Uttara Model College and BOU and worked as education specialist in BRAC Education.Columnist- English and Bengali dailies and author of several books in Language and Education, presented papers in various national and international conferences and conducted training at home and abroad.
