I am a biologist with a focus on wildlife conservation, scavenger ecology, and ornithology. My PhD research studies vertebrate and invertebrate scavenger communities in Mediterranean wetlands, investigating their use of various spatio-temporal carrion aggregations—such as natural mortality, periodic die-offs, and mass mortality events—as well as the role of vertebrate-mediated carrion displacement.
