I am deeply curious and a dedicated researcher exploring various aspects of natural processes. My research delves into the intersection of theoretical and applied ecology, encompassing diverse subjects such as macroecological patterns in species communities, animal movement, and their implications for population dynamics, conservation, and local-scale management. My specific focus lies in understanding nutrient flux in terrestrial and marine ecosystems, particularly mediated by carrion generation and the structure of communities of scavengers sustained by this unique resource. Additionally, I leverage animal movement, especially among large soaring scavengers and predators, to decipher the why, when, how, and where they move, aiming to design effective conservation measures and harmonize human activities with species conservation.
