Adrián Colino Barea
PhD student
Co-supervised with José Antonio Sánchez Zapata
I am mainly focused on landscape ecology and scavenging dynamics. My PhD research examines how the movement of scavenger vertebrates mediates the transfer of nutrients and matter across different ecosystems. My diverse background led me to work in areas such as primatology, remote-sensing techniques, botany, or human-wildlife conflicts in countries like Spain, Finland, Madagascar, and Serbia. I am passionate about conservation biology and ornithology, and enjoy spending time outdoors, especially watching birds.
