I am passionate about nature and especially birds. I am currently beginning my PhD focused on vertebrate scavenger communities in wetlands. We want to assess the role that scavengers play in these biodiversity "hotspots" and how they are influenced by the drastic changes and processes that these ecosystems undergo, such as mass mortality events (drying of ponds, botulism, etc ...) or hunting events.
