Ester Rescue provides American Heart Association CPR, First Aid, and BLS certification.

Our goal is to give Alaskans the means to save lives.

Skills checks are $80 per student and include a pocket mask and certification card from IREMS.

Russ Dennis is a Driver/Paramedic at the City of Fairbanks Fire Department, and a Battalion Chief at Ester Volunteer Fire Department.

According to the American Heart Association, only 35% of Americans requiring out-of-hospital CPR get it before EMS arrives. Early and aggressive resuscitation is the key to positive outcomes. A few hours of your time will give you the ability to give someone a chance to live. Let Ester Rescue help you help them!

Ester Rescue @ BLM

May 2019

AK BLM employees are up to snuff on CPR and First Aid! 8 members of our local office practiced and tested on our new direct feedback manikins, perfecting their rate and depth of compressions. Their AED skills are on point, and their aim with that Epi Pen is precise! Thank you, BLM, for your interest in saving others.

We have moved into the future with direct feedback manikins. Students will use the new manikins, which give visual feedback on quality and rate of their chest compressions on all hands-on CPR skills. Additionally, all certification and re-certification will be done through blended learning courses through the AHA. Simply complete the online class that fits your needs, print off the certificate of completion, and schedule a skills check with Ester Rescue.
