For years, Estelle Curran has been active in her support of STEM education initiatives. But what exactly is STEM? STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The curriculum of these science and mathematics based subjects often focuses on modern approaches to technology-integrated education. In Estelle Curran’s view, it is important that young children are introduced to STEM subjects in fun and innovative ways. She believes that this will encourage students to embrace careers within these focus areas.
Estelle Curran is a proud and primary contributor to Rosarian Academy’s STEM Excellence Pathway program. Introduced in 2018, Rosarian Academy launched the STEM Excellence Pathway program in collaboration with Carnegie Science Center -- all with the help of Estelle Curran! She is proud to support such an innovative program for students in grades K - 8. An advocate for new and unique educational experiences, Estelle Curran is excited for what this program will bring to the students of Rosarian Academy in coming years.
