We are going to use clay to create a pinch pot. By using our thumb and fingers to pinch the clay into a pot! We will also create a decorated lid!

Materials we need:

• Clay

• Surface area to work on clay

• Water / Slip

To finish clay, we can use glaze and then fire the clay again OR we can use acrylic paint or other painting methods. A fun way to paint is to use crayons to color the clay pinch pot, watercolor on top, and to finish it with Mod Podge or glue.
